If anyone's wondering: the stasis chambers are fine, and appear to have access to uninterrupted power even without the Natha's presence.

1 is fine so long as the baseline of your 'fucked' scale has been balanced to account for the ongoing threat inherent to being here in the first place.

Well that's disconcerting. As if the message wasn't troubling enough in and of itself. Does the station have escape pods or anything? Any idea where they might have gone, or how they went there?

they're basically gods, right
they could've gone anywhere

This is either no big deal and they're trying to psych us all out... or we're super doomed.

the dragons & magic would suggest high fantasy, but then again we've been through an apocalypse and were rescued by god aliens who put us in stasis for who-knows-how-many-centuries so
soft sci-fi?

Dims the chances of a cool space battle somewhat.

And we need to do something.

if you think something really did happen to our literal alien overlords, who are basically gods, what chance do you think WE have of facing that same threat and not dying

It sounded like it got the jump on the Natha, but that doesn't mean it struck them down. It could have just captured them somehow?

[ Types one of those who immediately beamed up upon receiving Darma's message to check on the stasis pods and observe the state of the station. That whole fading message thing kind of negated the relative comfort of the whole "we'll continue to monitor the situation" part. ]
if i didnt know any better, id say youre own votes toward the latter and it couldnt bother you less

[ Sending out a PSA to warn others one thing, but essentially waving 'The World is Ending' signs in the form of a network text and mocking the state of the situation is like adding fuel to the fire; unsettling an already nervous and paranoid group of traumatized refugees.
It's also just plain tactless. ]
