If anyone's wondering: the stasis chambers are fine, and appear to have access to uninterrupted power even without the Natha's presence.

[ It takes a second, but Jim switches modes - there's no view of his face, but of the stasis room. He does a pan over several rows of pods, going slow enough so that anyone watching can actually tell what it is. No alarms, no unusual blinking lights, no power flickers. ]

So far so good, [ he can be heard saying. There's no telling what tomorrow might bring, but that's true of any day in this nutty universe. ]

Fair, I guess... I mean, there could be any number of other planets around here. Not sure why they'd go to all the trouble to bring us all here, save a bunch of our friends and keep them safe in stasis, just to bail as soon as any old crap hit the rotary device, though.
