Well, now it seems that things might be settling down, knock on wood, I'd like to take a moment to let you all know I'll be opening a plant shop in Olympia's market place.
Very mundane to some of you, I'm sure, but growing up without natural plants, I've become very fond of them in my time here. And a business is only as good as it's clientele, so consider this reaching out to all of you - particularly those of you who might be inclined to travel to and from Wyver. I've no doubt there's plenty of interesting flora that might prove valuable or interesting to those who prefer to stay within Olympia's borders.
If you've got a proposition, I'd certainly be glad to hear it.

Are you interested in coin, or would you also be willing to trade?

[Unfortunately. Big girl pants, Claire.]
Though I do owe you an apology. I ran into you during the riots. I was rather presumptuous.
[It was fair, but still.]

Apology accepted. And I'd be happy to help. Feel free to send me any lists of what you might need.

[She's happy to leave it at that. God knows what he knows given who his roommate is.]
Wonderful. I work at the Sanctuary, but given their response to the last crisis, I don't very much trust them these days.

My name is Claire, by the way. We never had a proper introduction.

Maximus. A pleasure, I'm sure.

I see no reason why you and I shouldn't, now you know I'm my own person.

[Insert laugh track here.]

[To an extent, and not blindly, but that's more than most people.]

[ Which means, of course, that Maximus is certain he knows better than Claire does. It hardly matters. ]
Will you write up a list of what you'll need? I'll have Theon come collect it from you.
no subject
I will. Thank you, Maximus.

[ She's not imagining it at all. ]

Is there anything else you require aid with?

There were't many plants on the Iron Islands either. The soil couldn't grow much. I'm not nearly as fond of them as you are.
[ But he grew up in the North where there were plenty of trees. He refuses to mention that. ]

[ He thinks. He's hesitant to say, in truth. He hasn't actually named anyone as his friend in...literally years. ]

[ He refuses to say he needs it. He's far too stubborn for that, but he does need it. He's spent too much time alone with his thoughts. ]

I know Olympia, but not many people are particularly fond of me here.
[ And he isn't fond of many people. ]

I understand what you're trying to say, but the fact that not many people are fon of me is likely to make it difficult to grow your clientele.
