Have any of you tried a fruit called the 'doreh'?
[It’s a brief question. Gaius addresses the network early in the morning, hopefully after people have eaten breakfast. There have been a few things on his mind for a while, so he might as well ask now before the network turns to death talk again.]
I spoke with one of the workers on Thesa before coming here, and he shared some with me. It’s a green fruit with several leaves, and it has a bumpy texture...you might have seen it before. When you slice into it, the juice is purple. It's delicious and tastes like honey and plum, but...if someone offers you the same fruit in a different color, you might want to be careful. I’ve heard the other colors of doreh have side effects that are...less than desirable.
[How ominous? He seems to know what’s going on, at least.]
With all the conversation topics we've had, I'd also like to ask...were you religious where you're from, or was your world religious? I've visited the temples here, and they're...unique. [It's so hard to pick just one word.] I've been thinking about my own faith...a lot changes when you end up on a different world, doesn't it?
[He pauses for a moment, and then shakes his head slightly.]
Haha...it sounds a little heavy when I phrase it like that, but I'm still interested in hearing about your worlds if I haven't lost you all yet.

I hope you're able to find it someday. If there's every anything I can do to help, please let me know.
[His heart might show up here, too, right? Or it could be like his falcon, on the space station somehow? It doesn't seem impossible.]
no subject
Yeah, I hope so too, but not if it's gone because of the storm. Thank you, I think? I don't know if I'll come up with anything. Really, that's my Superior's department.

[Losing your legs can't be a comfortable sensation...]
Have you tried asking the Orbiters? There might be someone among them who can answer whether or not it's gone.
no subject
I haven't actually. Do you think I should?
no subject
I'm glad to hear it wasn't painful, then. You mention your Superior a lot. Is he your employer?
It's an option, but it's a decision you'll have to make yourself. They might tell you it's gone, after all.
[And that can't be easy to hear.]
no subject
[He honestly doesn't know what that is.]
They might. If it's gone I...
[He doesn't know how to finish that thought. It would be devastating. Could he feel devastated?]

[He can't say it sounds like this Superior is Demyx's boss if this is his first chance to do anything he wants.
On the other end of the phone, Gaius sighs, wondering if he should've kept quiet about that option.]
You don't have to ask if you're not ready. You could keep doing whatever you want to instead, right?
no subject
[It's probably the most flattering, innocuous way he could put it, really.]
It's just a thought I had, I don't know what I'd do in that case. I never considered being a Nobody forever. I...guess it'd be okay. Maybe.

[At this point, he's forgotten the topic of religion and is instead trying to bring the conversation somewhere less intense for Demyx's sake.]

As for what I like to do, I like music. I play sitar.
no subject
I can play the sitar myself, actually. My parents taught me when I was young.
no subject
Hey, really? Most people ask me what it is. That's so cool!
no subject
[He can only hope this Nobody will get a decent job...poor guy.]
no subject
[Well he did get a part time job after a very very painful interview.]

[Congrats, Demyx, Gaius is proud of you.]
