To Whom It May Concern,

Based on the current cycle of the moon, Easter ought to fall on the 7th Sunday from today, which would make tomorrow Ash Wednesday. I do not expect that a great many here share in these traditions, being that we are refugees of countless lands. I wish only to ask if any have attempted to establish the faiths of our home lands here in this new one, if there exist places of worship outside of the temples of Olympia and Wyver.

[The past isn't worth looking over, only the present and the future matter. But it's very unlikely their situations were anything alike - she requested her post after all.]

The simplest answer would be anyone who could survive the harshest trials would be strong.

It's not quite that simple, however. More I feel that the weak fail their duty or run away from it. The strong face it no matter the odds.

A fair definition. What then of he who fails his duty despite shouldering the burden as best he can? Does he deserve what befalls him?

No, if someone has done all they can despite the odds, their failure to beat those odds does not make them weak or deserving of what happens. People do not always get what is coming to them - whether they are good or evil.

True justice comes only after we have passed from this world into the next. Thus I would say that God is the protector of the weak, when they ask for His aid, and the supporter of the strong, when they are righteous with their strength.

You'll forgive me for wanting some to see that justice before then.

It is a natural sentiment to feel.

Of course it is. You'd be surprised how many are still shocked by the idea, however.

Christ teaches his followers to love their enemies. Bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that persecute you. Yet of all His teachings, this is perhaps the hardest to practice.
