[ This was the first time Reign used the network, and thus the video feed began with a view of himself. He waved at the screen with a polite smile, fangs peeking out slightly. ]

It seems this is a good place to ask for name suggestions, and I've seen a few people do that. I've recently gotten myself a new pet, though strangely hatched from an egg when he's a mammalian creature. Ah, let me introduce him.

[ Reign would disappear from view for a bit, then reemerged with a petite looking giraffe in the palm of his hands. ]

Anyway, other than names, I'm not certain what kind of diet a giraffe should eat. I've been letting him drink milk, which works well, but I don't know if he eats other kind of food. Would grass work? Vegetables, perhaps?

[ The giraffe raised its head, and Reign happily leaned down to let his pet kiss him on the cheek. ]

Aaaah~ Isn't he adorable?

[ there's the softest thumping noise in the background that is steadily increasing speed as he stares at the tiny giraffe. ]

That's a giraffe? [ he's never seen one before, and both ears twitch as he cocks his head. ] Does it make any noises?

[ Oooh, it's been a while since he'd seen Keaton. Reign could tell just how excited the other was. ]

Indeed he is. It's the first time I've seen a giraffe myself except in books. Oh, hang on.

[ The video shook a bit as Reign walked towards the couch where the tiny giraffe lay, holding the phone up close to his pet. ]

Go ahead, boy. Say something. [ And the giraffe did. A soft cry of some sort. ] Hear that?

[[ OOC : It would sound much softer compared to the video. ]]

[ as soon as the baby giraffe makes that noise, his entire everything immediately shoots straight up. even his ears, as horizontal as they are, try their best to go vertical. ]

That's... is it a cow? It sounds like a cow! [ WHAT IS THIS SORCERY TBH??? ] It might be the tallest... smallest cow I've ever seen?!

[ his face gets closer and closer. ]

You say you feed him milk? Hm. [ idea! ] Open his mouth. Let me see his teeth.

What? NO! He's not a cow. [ Wait, but Keaton might be right? Reign had only seen giraffes in books, but what if this was a special breed of cows that looked like giraffes? ]

But cows don't have such long necks and legs. The horns look different too.

[ Anyway, Reign moved closer to the giraffe and mimicked opening his mouth for the animal to follow. Surprisingly, the giraffe was quick on the uptake, doing as indicated for Keaton to see. ]

So? What about his teeth?

[notwagging]

Maybe it's a magic cow.

[ though as soon as he looks at the giraffe's teeth, he knows exactly what he's looking at. call it science. call it biology. call it having a collection of teeth at home! it could be any or all of those three things. ]

... I see! Look at them. See what they're missing?

[ as he says it, Keaton opens his own mouth and taps one of his pointier, sharper eyeteeth with his tongue.

whether Reign catches on... well, he seems like a smart vampire. ]

[ Holy crap, maybe Keaton was right?! But...! ]

I still don't he's a cow, magical or not.

[ Reign leaned closer to his device to see where Keaton was pointing at, noting those sharp looking canine similar to his own. ]

Of course he's missing those eyeteeth. He's a giraffe! A herbivore! Of course he won't have sharp teeth. But that doesn't mean he's a cow. Besides, the horns are different looking compared to a cow's.

His tongue is really neat, too.

[ and his tail slaps his bed a few more times as he hums in thought. ]

I'd feed him... salad. It's got those greens and leaves that humans like so much. I wouldn't drown it in sauce though, it might not be good for him.

[ slowly but surely, Keaton vibrates. his curiosity is making him wiggle. ]

A long neck requires a long tongue, after all!

[ What is logic? ]

Mn, good idea. No sauce for the giraffe, then. I guess most baby animals shouldn't be fed such foreign food anyway. So, greens and leaves. Vegetables.

[ Seeing Keaton's reaction, Reign grinned, almost devilishly. ]

Say, do you want to come and visit me? See for yourself this strange creature in person?

[notwagging]

... does it?

[ sorry, he can't help but question that one. logic or not, it just sounds really weird! ]

But yes, of course! I really want to see it, and I promise I won't do anything mean to it.

[ like, eat it. or something. ]

[ This logic was getting stupidly hilariously. ]

If you do anything mean to my baby giraffe, I'll kick you out.

[ Not really, but Keaton best not push his luck. ]

[ he wants to pet the giraffe. then, he wants to see if it'll fit in all of his pockets.

and he will not treat it as a future snack. ]

[ The giraffe most likely would be able to fit inside Keaton's pockets, as long as it wasn't too small.
