( the username might not be familiar to most, since it isn't used often and usually only with those that already know about who spider-man is. these are unusual circumstances, though, and require a little flexibility. )

( absolutely just ... puts that out there, like it's a perfectly normal name that no one should have questions about. )

usually this sort of thing isn't a team sport for me, but, hey. old spiders can apparently learn new tricks. or try? this is me, trying.

so i here i am on a midnight stroll at flona cove, i love me some romantic walks alone on the beach,
and to my astonishment just offshore there are what look like pirates (a few hats w feathers but what gave them away was the guy with the eye patch) making off like... well, pirates? i guess? with caches i know for a fact they didn't dig up
there's lots of these guys. 30 or more. and while i'm used to the solo thing, maybe this is more like a 2 person job.

any takers? and more importantly, how fast can you get here

but first, i have to ask. are you actually a spider-man? like half man, half spider? with the creepy legs and everything?

i go by spider-man, so, um
hingeing on strict humanity would be a little hypocritical of me

( he's technically a mutate now... there's enough wiggle room there that he's got to keep a more open mind. )

as of yet I have no spider queen. so for now you are good. will update if anything changes, though.

had some weird experiences with a spider thing that could speak through the dead. it was really creepy.

[ and sure they weren't hostile per se, but the rachni are really NOT pleasant to look at ok? OK?!

even as a spider person i 100% think that sounds horrible and terrifying?

if i have such powers, i would rather not know

yeah it wasn't super cool.

but you know we let them go because every species deserves a second chance, right? some of them might be up in stasis right now.

i guess that is cool of you? most people see a variety of spider and just see red. even like the tiny ones that can't hurt a fly. like, literally

that said, i am cool not meeting them if they do in fact wake. unless, as a fellow spider creature, they have no interest in messing with me.

well you never know. they might be able to communicate with you, or something.

but, then again, earth spiders are probably different than rachni.
