Is it just me or are things starting to get a little unpleasant around here?

[She sighs out some. Not that she hadn't expected Olympia and Wyver to start not getting along again of course but it's still pretty annoying.]

I've been outright ignored in a few places in Olympia. Don't ask me exactly what I did to get that kind of treatment because I don't have a clue.

[Now to the meat of why she's drifted onto the network after having not touched it for this long. Her tone actually sounds pretty curious.]

Have any of the rest of you run into anything? Olympia, Wyver, wherever.

Eh. I try not to be the type who places all my bets on a night where..

Well, everyone was kinda off.

No kidding. Still it wasn't bad exactly.

[At least everyone was in a good mood? Unlike now anyhow.]

A lot better than choosing sides and stuff? Yeah.

Not my proudest moments but.. hey. Isn't like I can't make an ass out of myself without some weird side effect anyways.

There's that but there's plenty of people who would deny that sort of thing anyhow. Or at least deny the idea that they can make an ass of themselves now and then.

Yeah, guess so.

Oh well, juice doesn't seem worth the squeeze for me to pretend to be suave about it.

It's a saying.. people at home used it a lot because fruit was expensive...

Kinda like... 'does the reward outweigh the punishment/work it would take' or something like that.

I think I get it. I don't think I've ever been somewhere where fruit was pricey though.

Never lived in space then. Shipping things and keeping them fresh is pricey.

I can imagine. The closest I've come to space is the Natha. ... And those ships when the last batch of people woke up.

[She sounds slightly displeased because she is. Shoved into a ship, expected to pilot it. Hnnnngh.]

Man I would've loved those things if it wasn't for having to share piloting. Like.. there's a few people around here who can pilot worth a damn but then I had to take down people who would rather scream and make a big deal and I just thought about how much I liked being alone in a cockpit instead of having people along.

You're used to flying things like those ships then?

Yeah! Used to fly space cruisers all the time where I'm from!

... I'm pretty impressed honestly. I couldn't fly that thing in the end.

If you ever wanna learn I can help you run through some drills in the simulators. It's really not a big deal to fly those things compared to other stuff I've piloted.

Is it like learning to ride a [ostrich horse] horse?

Honestly? I have no clue. I've never ridden a horse or anything like that.

Makes sense. I can't imagine if you can fly you'd have much use for a horse.

I mean my friend Quatre probably has some but I've just.. never had the time to hang around and even attempt to ride.

I probably wouldn't be too bad at it though.

Who knows. Hey, you teach me to fly and I'll try to teach you to ride one. Or throw a knife, whichever.

Sounds like a trade.

I'm alright with a knife but throwing is new.. then again I like to use switches, so.. not the best for throwing.

Maybe not but you can use pretty much anything as long as you compensate for weight. It's all about getting a feel for the basics and carrying on from there.

[Might help that she's a decent marksman.]

As with anything involving aim..

I'm down, though. Next time you have a minute and wanna do a simulator run just let me know.
