I wanted to ask a serious question, if everyone didn't mind.

Has anyone else woken up with new memories before? Is it a normal occurrence, or is it a fluke? Maybe magic?

I seem to have gotten new ones.

I woke up on the station. I don't remember having these days ago.

what are these new memories like, then? do they seem to be from just one point in your life or from random times?

It's like I continued life as if the storm hadn't come.

do you remember the storm coming again at the end of your new memories?

That's the weird part: I do.

I don't know too much about this... equipment that keeps us asleep, so I'm not sure if there's anything wrong with it.

yeah, I don't know anything about the pods, either. maybe it has something to do with them. or maybe the storm can mess with memories somehow.

[And a moment later, an uncomfortable afterthought-]

maybe a lot of us are remembering what happened wrong.

I know of magic that can alter memories, but nothing on this grand of a scale. If it is indeed magic... whatever that storm is and whoever or whatever might be controlling it? The power is enormous.

I've seen would-be gods and ancient, primordial dragons fall, so all power can be stopped. It's just the how we need to figure out.

[He's sorry he is the way he is!! He's been having doubts lately anyway about whether they'll ever be able to defeat the Storm, and now the idea that it might have changed or stolen their memories... Bad thought train just chugging along here.]

anyway, you might want to ask the natha sometime about those memories. they're probably the only ones who could answer for sure if it's a pod problem or a storm problem or something else entirely.
