Hello, everyone.
[ a little wave from a man who's smiling happily enough - a bit subdued, perhaps, but that's to be expected given the subject matter. ]
It's been a tough month, eh? I just wanted to say a huge well done to those of you who fought for a cure - it's extraordinary that you were able to create one in the time you did from entirely foreign components. I'm glad that our hosts are recognising the effort.
Everyone else, well done to you, too. Whatever you were doing, this has been a stressful situation and you made it out the other side, and that's worth a pat on the back if you ask me.
[ patron... ising??? it doesn't look like he's trying to be, voice soft and warm and earnest. what's visible of the background seems to be cool, stark metal: a glimpse of a glass window bathed in a glow of light coming from within. the ship. stasis chamber. ]
Off the back of that, if anyone fancies, I'll be offering free hugs for the rest of the month. Courtesy of me, while stocks last. Just give me a ring, I'll come and find you.
—Yeah, that's it. ... See you, then.
[ and, with a tiny salute, he's out. ]

I'm planetside! And lost. But that's fine, lost is a thing I'm good at, just might need your help in getting found.
[ a.k.a here's a pan shot of where in Wyver he's at, he's estimating it's fairly close to you, where are you at bud ]

[ it's a struggle, but he can stay still. sort of. bounce about on his heels a bit, but the surroundings will remain the same. ]

Hey.

just as the greeting's out, the Doctor's ducking down to a crouch to give an enthusiastic hello to this little friend here. ]
Hello there, you! Aren't you magical?
[ sorry Poe, never bring a cute lil sidekick to a people hug party ]

This is BB-8. [ he introduces while bb whistles out a hello. ]

[ how! delightful! and a cute whistled greeting oh noooo.
the Doctor's crouched and fussing with BB-8 for a second or too more, and then he's standing up to greet the man himself. only he's not just standing up, no no. he's standing up with arms spread wide, ready for a hello hug. ]
And hello you!

there's no hesitation before poe steps into the offered hug, both of his arms coming around the doctor. ]
Hello to you, too, buddy.

Good of you to come! Good of— me to... You to come to me? Good. Good.
[ good. he'll let go of Poe now, if only to make a bit of space for the tail end of a frown at the mess of words that just came out of his own mouth. eh, he'll shrug it off in favour of a smile. ]

Any time. [ he means that. ]
