Hey, I'm the Exile. I know, weird name.

So, hear me out.

[ Hear is all you can do anyway, as the Exile is big on not showing her face. ]

Would people be oh so opposed to grab your stuff and move somewhere else in the planet? Away from Olympia and Wyver and whoever else might be out there?

[ It's not exile if you leave willingly right? And if nobody kicks you out. ]

And before someone invites me to leave alone, I'm more interested in building something lasting. I can't do that by myself.

But ask yourselves this: would they let us? These powers that be. Just how much freedom we have?

Think about it.

What, you wanna... go build our own colony or something?

[ i mean. fair enough. but?? ]

Wouldn't that be hard?? I mean, sure, we camped out okay or whatever, but we got supplies and help from the Natha people, too.

Is a position of no resources, no allies, and no real knowledge of this place really any better...

Beats me, you'd have to ask them that yourself. I'd say considering they seemed to be used to new people coming in in Olympia, non-natives to the area can't be that uncommon. And they have to come from somewhere.

I mean I'm not saying we shouldn't... or that it's necessarily a terrible idea. It's just not a very good one right now, you know? A bunch of us are still recovering, and kinda indebted to these Wyver folks... Pretty sure they're not gonna be too happy if we just up and leave, and I dunno about you, but I definitely don't wanna start any big conflict if a good number of our own are still on the upswing.

Besides... It's not that bad right now.

They seem to be too preoccupied with fighting with each other to really notice much else. Not that surprising though, considering they seem to be the two biggest towns around.

Yeah, me either. Political squabbling is stupid and I don't much like humoring stupidity if I can help it.

I mean, that wasn't Natha's fault though.

[ he doesn't... think...

and, okay, so his trust in them hasn't been the best lately, not for a while if he's being honest, but he can't help but feel extra cautious. ]

Besides, if those people are, you know. "The powers that be." Wouldn't us leaving them just make them angry?

[ well... doesn't this sound familiar. ]

It all depends, now doesn't it? There's a lot of things to take into consideration.

I've no interest in either of the two. The people of Olympia are feeble and the lands of Wyver a sweltering prison. I would sooner be at sea, away from them both.

The sea has gone nowhere. [He doesn't understand how she could not know that. They beat the snot out of each other not far from the sea!] It is rarely ever hard to find besides.
