For those of you who have been seeking survival or battle training, it's all well and good to be learning on your own time, but going at it alone in a situation like this is just asking to get yourself or someone else killed. The last thing we need right now are a bunch of fools injuring themselves on their own blades because they thought they were hot enough shite to hunt something big down.

...I'm probably going to regret this, but if any have need of a guardian for just such an act of stupidity, I suppose accompanying you myself is better than nothing.

[Sid unravels a blood-stained piece of cloth in front of the camera, which appears to be a flag.

[ At first the video does not interest her, eyes flickered to the screen where she boredly focused on the image of -

She would have terminated the connection right there, but at the brandishing of a certain French flag, she was grasping the camera, and retaliating. ]

[Sid is just as wound up in his firing back, naturally.]

Take the damn thing back. I don't want it.

[ Look, she was maybe worried he would bleed out otherwise. ]

Take it back!? [ How dare he! And thus she blurted out the first thing she could think of. ]

T-tch! T-that isn't even mine!

[The look on his face is one of deep, deep disbelief. He scoffs inelegantly.]

Do you take me for a fool?! Fine, then I'm burning it. It's well past time I washed my hands of you anyway.

F-Fine! [ A slight waver to her voice as she seemed to instantly correct herself with a scoff of her own. ] Do that then! It isn't as if that stupid thing matters anyway.

[ There is the distinct feeling of disappointment, sadness even at his threat. It wasn't really about the flag. As such, she would ramp up her teasing to cover up the fact that maybe he had hurt her feelings. ]

Interesting choice to burn it though. Ufufufufu. Especially someone you are trying to "wash your hands of."

[Sid caught that fluctuation in her voice, of course, he just... doesn't know what to make of it. There's a pause to assess; then, he takes things in a different direction.]

If it doesn't matter, why leave it with me in the first place? If it was supposed to be insult to injury, you did a piss-poor job of it.

And while we're at it, why don't you explain your reasons for trying to off yourself when there was absolutely no need for it?

[ Why leave it? So he didn't bleed out of course! Was she actually going to be honest about her reasoning though? Unlikely. ]

[ Not that she was interested but, she was gunning for his name. ]

If not for someone else's intervention, I probably would have. And it bloody well hurt, too.

[Neither, apparently, is Sid. Nobody ever lauded him for being rational and level-headed.]

Whoever or whatever you're supposed to be avenging, then, you're doing a pretty piss-poor job of it.

[Truth be told, if she's not pulling it out of her arse, he is a little intrigued by that, even if directly asking is out of the question. Obviously. "Spirit of Vengeance," huh...

The next line is dry, more of a snipe than an actual observation. It hasn't quite clicked yet.]

[ Another sharp inhale at his words, a slight snap sound could also be heard. It seemed like she had balled her fist so hard, part of her plated gauntlets had cracked. ]

Tch, what do you know about doing a good job at anything?

[ His next statement earned even more ire from her, if it was possible. A sarcastic remark rolling off her tongue. ] Tch...killing a spirit...

Don't you need an exorcism for that?

Wait, you're going to tell me you wouldn't have even died anyway?!

[That one makes his temper rise. All of that, for nothing? Is she serious?]

Hahaha! Unlike that trashy holy woman, my Noble Phantasm isn't suicidal! [ It seemed she held absolute glee for this fact. The woman which she spoke of...well she didn't matter.]

Fighting's always been the only thing I've really been good at. I have just enough skill in other things to survive, but only the bare minimum.
