[ Look who's finally figured out how to use the video feature! Though, admittedly, he's still hesitant about this particular function, and it shows on his face as he sits in front of the camera, looking at the image of himself before he remembers he's making one of these moving picture things. ]

I am aware that, with this relocation, there are many new changes for all of us to grow used to. I'd like, if I can, to make myself available. To anything anyone might need. A job or something similar. Something like that.

[ Gods be, why did he choose to make this a video? This must be the part where he lists his skills and qualifications. As a man who's never had to work a day in his life, his applicable skill, he knows, might be for an acquired profession. ]


If there are hunting parties seeking another member, I'm no stranger to the hunt. I am accomplished tournament knight. I've proven my merit on the battlefield, and I was designated Lord Commander of my king's Rainbow Guard. [ The guard may have been short lived, but even to this day, Loras feels he still holds the position. In his heart of hearts.

There's a long pause. ]

If you think I may be of use to you, I'd like to help. Any way I can. [ And then the screen goes dark. ]

And you feel I may be inclined to lend myself to something disagreeable?

[ His eyes narrow a little, uncertain if he's offended or possibly flattered by the chance there may be some concern there. ]

[priorly]

You offered, Loras. All I'm saying is you might want to put some conditions on anything next time.

[triplerose]

An offer is not an acceptance. I've sworn no promises to commit to a task.

[priorly]

So you'll retract your offer? All right. If that's behavior befitting a rainbow guard.

[The rose knight from the rainbow guard, someone in Loras' life had no time for subtlety.]

My offer stands, should the prospect be fitting. A member of the Rainbow Guard would not stoop to a task not befitting a knight.

[priorly]

I see. And is there a guide on what such tasks may be? You're aware many of us are uncouth creatures from barbaric eras.

[triplerose]

You're not a very pleasant person, are you?

[priorly]

[Eyebrows raised, Prior pauses to look behind himself before blinking back at the screen. This is, all round, a confusing experience, even considering he's dealing with someone from - apparently - before the dawn of sarcasm.]

I am honestly trying to help.

[triplerose]

You're not doing a very fine job of it.

[ Loras isn't certain what Prior wants from him. Is this not getting back on the horse?

He looks anywhere but the screen and at Prior. ]

You'd do as poorly in my homeland as I would in yours. [ Yes, this is vaguely a truce. ]

[priorly]

[Calling him unpleasant? No, Loras, that's kicking the horse before trying to get back on. Knight of the delicate flowers. Good grief.

The fact he'd be as out of water where Loras is from is something he's pointed out before. He folds his arms, now.]

I'd be a dead man in your homeland, and it wouldn't come down to a poor choice of words. But neither of us are home now, and I've no interest in making that harder on you. So I'll put it in simpler terms.

People will take advantage, and offering anything may not win you anything good. So, noble as the offer may be, perhaps think of what you want to do, first, and offer that. [He pinches his lips together, nods-] And now I'll go.
