[ Annoying... eyes glanced down as she pressed her lips in a thin grimace. She finally gave a fairly truthful reason. ]

I know someone who was dumb enough to get sick, and as much as I wouldn't care if they died normally, unfortunately our lives are tied together. If she dies, then so do I.

And I have a pretty strong attachment to life. This isn't kindheartedness, it's survival.

Well isn't that unfortunate. But if she's sick then she must be human, of all the people here why would you tie your life with something fragile? Can't you just break the bond with that human and begin a new one with someone healthier? It sounds like a real bother having to take care of someone who's sick.

[ A dark smirk from her, seemingly pleased with her threat as she terminated the call between them. ]
