Have you, yes, you, killed someone or... something? Poof, gone, light left their eyes if they have them, turns out they're dead forever or it's like a five-minute deal. Whatever have you; it still counts if they stopped breathing.

If yes, why? Should we all expect a knife in our back? Get electrocuted to death? Be made to walk off a cliff? What are the qualifiers for this sort of thing, really? Personal vendettas? OR... perhaps you were playing the hero. [the deets, give the sweet deets.]

If no, well... I didn't think that far ahead, truth be told. You're more than likely surrounded by murderers, so... what's... a food you miss? There's a lot of dramatic irony here, considering Dorian is well aware of what Anders is famous for. But he'll hold his tongue, because that's an even worse conversation to get into.]

I believe it's a matter of asking yourself if you're ready to stoop to their level. Is one dead t--... person for all the atrocities of others really going to make a difference, or are you digging the both of you a bigger hole?

One death wouldn't make much of a difference, no, but it would put an end to that person's atrocities.

I don't go around just hurting people, though. When I kill someone, it's usually because they've tried to kill me first.

Funny. A lot of people say that, but spare the details of why they had someone trying to kill them in the first place.

Though... I might have some idea, in the case. I've been to Kirkwall. I know the sort you describe, and we both know they're everywhere. So sometimes, though slow, reform on a grander scale is worth more in the end than giving them more reasons to validate what they do.

What are trying to imply? That I provoke others for the purpose of killing them? I don't.

As for Kirkwall, I've already been doing that. I've petitioned to the Grand Cleric every chance I could these last four years, but nothing has ever come from it. The sort of change that you're describing only works when the other party is willing to do something. Not just sit there and watch as everything gets worse.
