[ Cheryl is sick. despite that, she's done her hair and makeup and dressed herself in a red silk robe. a lot of effort went into her appearance, but it does little to hide the fact that she's unwell. she looks tired. at home she was a pro at snapchat, and she holds the camera out at arms length. all that's missing is the puppy filter! ]

By now you've all heard of the great tragedy that's befallen us. I was caught right in the middle of everything, an innocent bystander in someone's very cruel plan to shake us all to the core. I don't scare easily and I don't wilt, but I could use your help in this trying time.

First: obviously i am confined to bed until I recover. You can entertain me by chatting with me and telling me your stories. Make sure they aren't boring.

And secondly: If you're able-bodied, perhaps you can avenge me. [ she pauses. smiles. ] Us. It's the right thing to do.

[ and as she ends the video: ] Hashtag Olympia Strong. [ yes, that's right. hashtag. this is Cheryl Blossom, after all. ]

[ she nods. ] That's him, especially if he looked stressed about something insignificant.

Are there other people here who look like you? [ the sparkle in her eyes says she hopes the answer is yes, if only as a way to terrorize her best friend Peter. ]

[priorly]

Well, not exactly insignificant.

[And not as stressed as Prior looked at the time, he's quite sure.]

But hopefully not. I've spent a lot of time on this face, I'd hate for it to become common.

[sweetwater]

A face like yours could never be common, even if others seem to be borrowing it. Besides, only the fabulous get copied.

[ but you can bet she'd be mad if she had an identical non-twin. ]

[priorly]

Oh look at that, Peter has a fan. [That's more pleased than teasing, although it's interesting, too. He still knows little enough about him, other than sharing a face and a city.] Did you know him from before?

[sweetwater]

[ she smiles. Peter is basically her space best friend. ] No, I met him right after we'd arrived. [ technically she yelled at him and demanded he figure out how to get people out of stasis. ]We're roommates. He protects me.

[priorly]

[He protects me. It's an odd, maybe sweet thing to say about a roommate.]

I hope there isn't too much to protect you from. Besides the space flu, obviously. I... think I freaked him out a little. Though to be fair the experience was a mutual one.

[sweetwater]

[ well, there was the whole giant spider thing but better not to get into that. ]

He told me all about it and I wanted to look for you. He wouldn't let me. [ she smirks. ] I suppose I win.

[priorly]

You do. But why wouldn't he let you look for me? [He leans toward the camera, conspiratorial.] Is he worried you'll think I'm prettier?

[sweetwater]

[ she nods. ] Probably. He said it was because he wasn't ready to see you in person, as your existence is weird on a scientific level.

[priorly]

Oh. [Squeaky: Oh.] My friend said he'd probably try to kill me, as clones are wont to do.

[sweetwater]

Interesting theory. But Peter wouldn't hurt a fly.

[ well... she thinks. ]

So I suppose you're both normal.

[priorly]

I suppose. Though I suppose also that you should invite me to tea and we can smile sweetly as he walks in on us.
