I have seen some discussion concerning the people who are still in pods and it has led me to wondering. How would you handle someone you have unpleasant history with being here?

Do you trust the local government to be efficient in such matters?

I haven't been here long enough to assess how efficiently they would resolve the problem. I have been here less than a month.

We are in the same boat, in that case. I could give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

So long as the person is simply a persistent nuisance rather than a real threat to your safety, that seems like the best way to go about it. There are some people who have mentioned joining the Guard, and they might be the people to approach if your problem person or people escalate things beyond being very annoying.

That almost feels like tattling. But I don't want to cause problems for other people who aren't involved.

Most of your current legal options aside from getting on civil terms with the person or avoiding them involve some measure of tattling. Alternately, do your best to rise up within the community and befriend the people of influence in the nobles district. No doubt they can give you a few more options, and perhaps inspire your problem person to move to another town.
