I know this is a bit of a chaotic time for us all. With the recent chemical explosion as well as the announcement of suspected terrorists to Olympia I'm sure you're all frantically running about trying to find the few loved ones that you have. But it's during times like this that a network system such as the one we have is the most important.

If any of you are searching for someone and are unable to get in contact with them please leave a post here mentioning that. This way others can keep an eye out for them or they may even be able to contact you themselves in order to tell you they're safe.

Also if providing aid this space could be a used to mention the resources you are able to provide as well as locations that are taking in those that are sick or injured.

Finally, if any of you who happen to be involved with what's going on with the current suspected attack, please feel free to personally contact me or state your case here. Remember, you are not guilty until there is absolute proof of it. If you feel like you've been wrongly accused I will be happy to help.

I didn't know the life of an attorney was full of emergencies like this.

Ahah, you'd be surprised. Emergency situations are usually what we are here for, or at least we're used to dealing with the aftermath at all.

[Assault. Natural disasters. Murder. Location based injury. There are legal repercussions to everything.]

After all, I'm sure there are plenty of people who need both aid and advice on where to go after all this... Now that I think about it, I wonder if business insurance is a thing in this world.

[How are all those poor business owners in the market dealing with the building repairs as well as the sudden loss of revenue? And what about workers rights and work based injuries in emergency situations? Ah, all the things that needed to be considered was giving him a bit of a headache.]

Do people even use insurance here?

[A lot of things vanished during the Crusades, and they're slowly being reintegrated. Insurance still has yet to return to everyday citizens, and it's kind of hard to get policies for assassins.]

While I don't need advice right away, I will keep you in mind.

[And one he intended to have answered before this whole debacle was over. How was a business supposed to thrive after a disaster if there was no coverage? Would that be it? Those poor business owners.]

If there is no insurance than, of course, there are plenty of legal moves those who had their lives ruined could make. The government has a duty to its people to make sure that those residing under their laws can be protected both physically as well as fiscally. And surely some of the taxes they pay to the city are stored to protect the land and its people from such disasters.

[Otherwise what kind of government would this be? Why would anyone want to start up any sort of industry here?]

Ahah, but right, if you have any questions about your rights in regards to this new world we're in feel happy to ask! Advice is free after all, and I'm doing my best to find out everything I can about Olympia and it's justice system in what little time I've been here. Any questions you have will help my own studies as well.

Of course! Everyone needs someone on their side after all! Especially so in situations where it feels like the whole world is turned against them. It’s why I decided to become an attorney in the first place.

[After all, there should never be a time when a person feels completely isolated in a situation. It’s part of what made people people. That ability to trust and from bonds with others around them. No one could survive completely on their own. At least not hapilly.]

Speeking of, how are you holding up? Were you anywhere close to the blast when it happened?

[And there have been many situations where Venom felt like everything was against him. Thankfully none of it had to do with the law, but still.]

I wasn't. So far, I haven't felt sick in any way, and none of my roommates have fallen ill, either.

Ah, that’s a relief. I managed to get in contact with one of my roommates. The other I was told was at the location of the blast but is otherwise fine. But as for my third roommate, well, sadly I haven’t heard word from him yet.

[And of course, being the type of guy he was, Phoenix was worried sick. He may have only just started getting to know his newest roommate, but living with someone for a few weeks none the less builds at least a little bit of attachment.]

I hope you hear from him soon. What does he look like, in case I spot him first?

[Not that Venom can blame him. He's going to try keeping in touch with as many people as he can.]

Ah, well, nothing too distinguishing sadly. Um, about five-ten and a medium build. Short-cut brown hair. Usually dresses up in a suit much like myself. Fairly attractive for his late twenties early thirties. Oh! He he is physically blind but seems to get along fairly well on his own. Because of it he sports the red circular sunglasses over his eyes.

He responds by Matt. Matt Murdock. And like myself he’s an attorney.

[The help is crazy appreciated Venom. He has a tendency to over-worry over just about anyone he gets moderately close to.]

I know Matt. I met him a short while back while I was walking a local citizen's cats. I'll be sure to let you know if I find him.

Yes, please keep an eye out for him. He's the only one of my roommates I've gotten no response from and, well, I'm not going to lie, it's kind of worrying.

None the less, thanks. It's good knowing there are so many people here who are willing to be there and help each other out. It certainly makes me feel a little more comfortable knowing that this city will be my new home.

I don't think strangers were anywhere as willing to help one another out during such emergencies back where I was from. Not unless they were the police or something like that at least.
