I know this is a bit of a chaotic time for us all. With the recent chemical explosion as well as the announcement of suspected terrorists to Olympia I'm sure you're all frantically running about trying to find the few loved ones that you have. But it's during times like this that a network system such as the one we have is the most important.

If any of you are searching for someone and are unable to get in contact with them please leave a post here mentioning that. This way others can keep an eye out for them or they may even be able to contact you themselves in order to tell you they're safe.

Also if providing aid this space could be a used to mention the resources you are able to provide as well as locations that are taking in those that are sick or injured.

Finally, if any of you who happen to be involved with what's going on with the current suspected attack, please feel free to personally contact me or state your case here. Remember, you are not guilty until there is absolute proof of it. If you feel like you've been wrongly accused I will be happy to help.

I trust that you have managed to secure a safe location, Wright. That's good at least. I'm alright. I was further away from the blast radius. Is there anything you need at the moment? And have you had word from the others as of yet?

I've been at home since the incident occurred. Haven't left yet either. Where are you? It's weird seeing this house so empty.

Oh good. Stay there, I had just stepped out to the store. I am a few blocks away. I'll bring home some provisions, in case we need to hunker down for a while.

Oh thank god. Always a step ahead aren't you?

Phoenix, with the sort of lives we live its best to be prepared for an emergency. The only reason we hadn't was because of our lack of funds. I've procured some water and canned foods so far. I have 10 silvers left, in case we may need anything else.

I'm heading home now.

Sure. Fine. Don't show any sort of thanks for the roof over your head and the food on your plate that I've provided. I see how it is.

[A chuckle could be heard from the other side of the door as Miles shuffled the bags he was carrying to unlock the door. He shook his head and placed the full bags of provisions onto the table. He called out into the house.]

Fine. I, Miles Edgeworth am eternally grateful for the food, shelter and basic neccesities that was payed for by the undue hardship that Phoenix Wright's derrier had suffered and possibly chaffed from being stuffed into such tiny undergarments.

So I thank you.

[He hoped that at least lifted his mood a bit. He know how much Phoenix disliked being alone and fretting during emergencies. If thier other flat mates hadn't returned Phoenix was probably fretting a lot.]

Ah. Now if only I could have had that in writing.

[You really do know him don't you Miles? Sure enough before now Phoenix had been pacing about the living room in frantic circles as he tried to sort everything out. Speaking to Miles over the phone helped, but it did not stop the worry he felt in regard to the two roommates he still hadn't heard from.

None the less he seemed relieved the moment he turned around to look at his old friend. His shoulders slouching a little as he relaxed.]

You're all right, right? You weren't anywhere near the explosion?

Aren't you worried this will make you something of a pariah?

Nothing I'm not already used to. I am a defense attorney after all, situations like this are how I make a living.

Besides, none of us know the full story behind the situation. The only way true justice will be served is if we have all sides of the story provided.

[He gestured to himself with a hand.] I was nowhere near the blast radius. I am not injured at all.

[He approached his childhood friend. He placed his hands on his shoulders in an effort to calm him.]

Phoenix. Take a deep breath.

As usual I can't help but feel there is a feint air of sarcasm to your words.

Of course. This is an emergency crisis. The best way to deal with such a situation is to sort it out and gather what information and evidence you can as quickly as possible.

We don't have the concept "sarcasm" in my culture. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

But some might argue that lawyers slow down the process of intelligence-gathering.

[All right. Sure. Deep breath. He'll do just that and try to take a second to calm his own nerves before continuing.]

I haven't heard from Matt or Athena yet. But I'm keeping an eye on the line. We haven't even gotten our jobs back yet and already things feel just like home.

[A.K.A: A chaotic mess of a city where some big crime is always happening.]

Huh. Really now. That's an interesting factoid.

[Unless you're being sarcastic about there not being sarcasm! He's onto you good sir!]

And that depends on what side your stance is on the matter. It's a longer process to figure out what the evidence means, of course. But because of it there is a much more genuine result. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty after all and figuring all sides to the issue is the best way to keep those aforementioned innocents from being targeted without due process.

[He got up to grab a bottle of juice, opening it before handing it to Phoenix. Did he really seem that un affected? It wasn't that he wasn't fretting about the situation as well. Any number of thing could be happening, but he knew that in this type of situation it was best to stay put until they have more of an idea of what to do.]

Perhaps. But if it was another sort of emergency [Earthquakes for example.] I'm afraid I wouldn't be of much use. It's true that it feels like things did in Los Angeles, especially last year with the Blackwell case. All personnel in the prosecutor's office has had training in handling such situations.

We'll keep an eye on the lines and hope that they get in touch with us soon. Then after we get in touch we can plan out what to do next.
