I know this is a bit of a chaotic time for us all. With the recent chemical explosion as well as the announcement of suspected terrorists to Olympia I'm sure you're all frantically running about trying to find the few loved ones that you have. But it's during times like this that a network system such as the one we have is the most important.

If any of you are searching for someone and are unable to get in contact with them please leave a post here mentioning that. This way others can keep an eye out for them or they may even be able to contact you themselves in order to tell you they're safe.

Also if providing aid this space could be a used to mention the resources you are able to provide as well as locations that are taking in those that are sick or injured.

Finally, if any of you who happen to be involved with what's going on with the current suspected attack, please feel free to personally contact me or state your case here. Remember, you are not guilty until there is absolute proof of it. If you feel like you've been wrongly accused I will be happy to help.

Better now I think.

[He didn't even hesitate with that, instead reaching out lazily for the small glass cabinet by the side of the couch. If he can get these without standing he will be happy.]

A bit anxious still, but I suppose the most I can do is have faith. I'm sure more about the attack will come out once information is available. And hopefully the others show up at some point today.

It's weird. We only just met Matt and I'm already fretting. Maybe this whole situation we're in is turning me into a nervous wreck. I mean... Everything since we woke up.

Is that strange?

It's not strange at all. We've lost so much that it makes sense that you want to hold onto what little we have now.

[He leaned further back into the couch and closed his eyes rubbing at the bridge of his nose with a forefinger and thumb. It wasn't obviously apparent but the crease in his forehead was deepening and the circles under his eyes were a bit more visible.]

It's a lot to take on. Even for someone as adaptable as you Phoenix. In the meantime, I'm here and we'll drink this probably oversweet grape juice.

[He gave a small smile.]

You were always the optimist among the two of us.

Hey, don't diss a bottle of grape juice shared between friends.

[With that Phoenix gave a wry smile in return, pulling out a bottle opener (He carried that around with him, just in case), and popping open the juice. The deep red/purple liquid poured and bubbled into the glasses he held jointly in his other hand, stopping just short of fizzing over, before he handed one over to Miles.]

Well, at least we have each other in this chaotic mess that we've gotten ourselves into. And Athena of course.

[Thanks guys, he's really glad that at least he's not in this alone.]

[He took the drink gratefully and sipped at the edge thoughtfully. Goodness, it was sweeter than he was expecting it to be. But the sugar felt nice in his system, especially since he hadn't eaten much of anything that day.]

[He sighed heavily.]

Another chaotic mess. Except we aren't really in a position to be able to offer much help. I certainly wish I could have our LAPD forces at our disposal again, and minimalize casualties.

Ahah, I suppose. Truthfully I’m just as useful now as I would be at home. Not like I had an entire police force to back me up back then either.

[With that he drank down a large gulp of his own glass, sighing out as he felt his own nerves relax slightly. His body leaning back in his seat as he looked up at the ceiling casually in thought.]

I think.. I’m probably going to go out and check the scene of the explosion once things calm down a little.

You are and always were incredibly useful Wright. I wouldn't have needed your insight so damned badly in Germany if you weren't.

[He sipped his drink thoughtfully, enjoying the quiet.]

Want me to join you in your investigations? [He would prefer not to leave him by himself. He knew the sort of trouble Wright was prone to when left to his own devices.]

Ahah, you say that but you would just as quickly refute it if we were facing each other in court.

[He takes the moment to chuckle, his expression definitely seeming more relaxed at least as he placed his glass down and hunched over in contemplation.]

I wouldn’t want to trouble you. But the help would be nice.

[And then he turned, looking up at Miles.]

What do you say? Would be as if we’re working on the same side like those times back home.
