when you had the big beach party where we met all the new people makoto and i found the skeleton of a creature!
it was very sad :(
in any case she and i took a tooth from its skeleton
with help from my spacey powers :p

Anyway, we should get to the point of this posting.
I requested Jade’s help to see if the tooth had any sort of applicated effects.
We noticed when mixing it with some painkillers we had on hand that it dramatically increased their potency.
We aren’t licensed chemists, but we figured it might have some effect we could reproduce and use for our cause.
Of course, any good experiment needs subjects.

but its true that just us two is not enough data hehe

Right. So we’d like to ask for some help.
You can meet us both this afternoon in my office at the Simwe Institute for an interview.
I can see about possible compensation for your participation, but I can’t guarantee it.
We’d also love to hear from anyone with any expertise in chemistry or medicinal science.

Well.. it wasn't my first thought. But this is my job. If you're interested in the skeleton itself, I can send you coordinates. I'm no archaeologist, but this is something I'm able to do.

It just.. sort of happened. Jade and I agreed it was worth trying. Making usable items is what I'm most interested in doing right now, so it seemed natural to try.. somehow.

Well, I guess it's not beyond the realm of logic. Penicillin grew on a mouldy plate and all. It's just not any logic that would occur to me. Um.

i am curious to find out if dosage remains the same across different bodies right now personally
this could be a big break for medication!
if you have suggestions or things you would want to try yourself though i am listening

yes
i would not ask people to do something unless i was almost completely sure it was safe
in this case it seems like the tooth grindings raise the potency of certain properties and i would like to see if dosages remain the same across bodies as well as see if there is a pattern across what elements it increases
or decreases if that ever happens
for some reason i have a feeling it will not though :\

It sounds astoundingly useful, I agree.
Do you think it could enhance the effect of antibiotics or other medications?
Have you been able to find what gives it its enhancing properties?
There are plants from my home that could be used in the same way with alchemical reactions, and those had a wide array of uses.

I'm not sure how wise that was, but good for you if you made it out fine. [She really is in no position to be questioning others' decisions here, anyway.]

Though I do agree a large sample size should help with getting a better idea, yeah. Since there are so many of us from various worlds, supposedly, then it might be that what works (or doesn't) for one subject is different for another.

I'd like to run a few more tests before I release it publicly. I can't tell if it's a stable or sustainable way to make medicine yet.
