[This post is made at around 3am, and Prior appears to be curled in a corner of his bathroom floor, in a pink cardigan and floral PJs.]

Forgive my intrusion on what, I am told, is a highly complex network of cups and strings... has anyone else been assigned to an empty house? Quite, quite empty. Aside from myself, of course, but I'm all moved in now and find I do not, in fact, take up that much room. And it's very quiet, at this time of night. Very quiet. The emptiness becomes somehow moreso. Does that make sense? I'm not sleeping very well.

[He's not doing much very well, by the slightly shivery look of him. Although it is cold on the bathroom floor, and perhaps that's at least part of the cause.]

Though I can't deny the extra space is a boon. Very handy for storing all the nothing I have to fill it with. Would anyone like to go antiquing? If we're lucky we may even find something here that doesn't look archaic.

Speaking of looking for things. I hear there's no hospital. Do we have pharmacies? I have prescriptions from my own world which will run out soon and I don't know the best course of action to take. This city can't, surely, be all cons and no mod. Are there ballrooms? Movie theatres? I know there's an entertainment district but haven't yet ventured out that far. I suppose a bar with a rainbow flag in the window would be too much to ask for.

[Swallowing, he glances down, feeling the glare of being on camera and saying too much.]

Perhaps I should set something up downstairs. At the very least, I have the room.

[He reaches out, and the screen goes black.]

The theatre productions in the entertainment district are quite good. Perhaps you ought to try venturing.

[Oh, not at all. Prior's come much closer to losing his mind than this. Things will be fine once the sun's shining and the world starts to feel as though there's more than him in it.]

There wasn't a great deal of time to book an interdimensional removals service before the storm. [He clasps his hands lightly.] I had some wonderful dining chairs, salvaged from the refurb at the Plaza. Gone.

[It's not really the furniture he misses (and the house does come with its own).]

They really have scattered us like birdseed.

[Forgive him, he doesn't look quite ready to take on the town just yet. Though he picks himself up a little and leans forward as this face comes on the screen.]

Byerly, is that you? My screen reader announced you as... something demonic. I thought it was speaking in tongues.

It is a while since I've taken in a show. [Swapping one dark room for another. It's a thought.] Do they have musicals, here? I fear if anything's universally ubiquitous it may be Cats.

There's the Sanctuary if you're looking for medications. I haven't used it personally but I think a lot of people like us work there.

I believe they do, yes. And whilst I can't claim to know everything they're showing here, I've seen nothing involving cats.

[He doesn't know the particular musical this guy is referring to, had never seen a performance in the flesh, so to speak, until his arrival here, only read the occasional play purlioned from Mother's extensive library. Maybe that's a good thing. Being a 'dog person', hahah.]

Lucky you. But do you have recommendations? I've flicked through television channels for hours but nothing seems to distract.

[ The notion of living alone is more than a little alarming to David, honestly. Things were just a little too big still, a little too overwhelming.

He clears his throat, ]

I've not made it as far as the Entertainment District either yet, though I hear it's the place to be most evenings.

[ Music, street performers. It's bound to be different from what a lot of them are used to but it's something to pass the time. ]

I saw it described as the city's prime location for magical liposuction which is, sad to say, slightly outside my needs just now.

[Speaking a little too fast? He takes a breath and presses hid hand to a birdlike chest.]

I just want something familiar. Do they sell aspirin here, for example, or is it a case of visiting druids for some boiled willow bark?

[Prior's been living alone longer than he'd like, and that's still only a matter of weeks. He's not made for travelling solo at the best of times, and here it's worse. Here there's so little else to think about - and too much.]

I've heard surprisingly little, given that reputation. I'll have to make a point of seeking it out. I will. It just feels a little... unusual, going out to be entertained alone.

Well, that's easy enough to fix if you don't mind a tag-along.

[ Then, to clarify: ] I'll probably be heading out that way myself in the next few days. Am reasonably sure I can get us there without getting too lost.

[ He gives a cheery little gesture of his hand towards the screen. ]

[Prior opens and closes his mouth, working through a response which, ultimately, turns out to be a rather helpless, surprised smile.]

No. No, I don't believe I'd mind that at all. Thank you, for your kindness. Why I feel like Blanche Dubois.

[Just a little crazy, but grateful.]

It sounds like something the cat hacked up. [And have Prior taking a moment to peer into his phone, pressing buttons: he has a fine nose, enjoy this close angle.] There must be some way to add you to autodial.

Yes, I imagine so.

[ No guidance or help is forthcoming. Sorry. This is what being friends with him is like. Awful. ]

Fine. I'll find some beautiful, bespectacled technical wizard and ask them to fix it for me. Or block you entirely, I haven't decided, yet. [One small flicker in the act, he glances away from the screen.] Tomorrow. I'll do it in the morning.

[ His eyes widen in mock-shock. He can bully Prior out of his bad mood, right...? ]

Cruel to yourself, that is. I'm a source of endless joy and delight - ask anyone.

For what reason would you seek a rainbow flag? Are you seeking members of the Warrior's Sons of old? Or something else? Given all that has passed, I would not so readily put my faith in the Seven.

[ he briefly thinks to his younger brother and his "rainbow guard" as well. though that was not a topic that he wished to recall. ]

I'd seek a rainbow flag because I'm queer, darling. I can't say I was being more specific than that, but if seven warrior's sons are involved then color me intrigued.

I do not find anything particularly "queer" about you, other than perhaps your manner of speech.

You misunderstand me. The Seven were a group of Gods worshiped in mine own realm, though I never put much faith in them. The Warrior's Sons were a group of men that followed the Warrior, and were known for wearing rainbow cloaks.

[The bad mood, certainly, it's all affected. The deeper terrors may prove trickier to shoo.]

Perhaps I shall. Where did you say you were again? I'll send them a survey.

Now, a survey wouldn't be entirely fair. You see, sometimes people are too overwhelmed by their love for me - they want to play it cool. You understand.

[Do you know, Stannis, perhaps it's not. But that's alright, as a distraction it's currently working for Prior.]

Not queer odd, queer homo- you know - nevermind. Men who wear rainbow cloaks to show their allegiance to some butch, warrior god sound close enough to my meaning. Where do they hang out, exactly? I'll look them up.
