[Here is one disgruntled English lady. You might have seen various shades of this annoyance after the pods plummeted to the earth, checking for injuries (maybe on you, personally), or more recently at the Sanctuary collecting blood. Apparently, the latter is why she's deemed it necessary to post.]

Thought I'd drop a quick word, given some of my experiences since we've all come together.

Now, I understand we all come from various worlds and times, with vastly differentiating forms of medicine, but I'm sure it's safe to say that bloodletting is not the preffered sort of medicine people want here. I don't care if someone here handed you a knife, of if that's what you're used to doing. That is not how you collect blood. You use a needle, and hopefully it's held by someone that knows how to find a vein. If you'd like to learn, I'd be happy to teach you.

Secondly? Your blood, assuming you're... human, or what the biologically average human is, is going to be used by anyone who needs it, rich or poor. The blood of a king is not going to make a beggar on the street suddenly somehow contend for a throne that doesn't even bloody exist in this world.

[There's a pause in which she almost calls a certain someone named Richard out, but she's a better woman than that. Just barely.

There's a flicker of a forced smile.]

Rugged, a bit stand-offish. Talks a little bit too much about the old kingdom days, but has his heart in the right place? Oh, and of course, such an impressive dragon.

God, please tell me you mean an actual dragon.

[Please don't be a euphemism.]

[Because if she implies it's a lizard, he will so be done with her! Or, well, more done with her than previously, which was already pretty done.]

You have a bloody dragon?

[Hmmm.]

Oh yes. He's quite the fearsome fellow, too. Tad Cooper is what they call him. It's a name that inspires fear and valor. Well, you know, valor for him and fear to his enemies.

Did you name him that?

Of course. He was only a small dragon then.

[And now he's... marginally larger than then.]

[Dog sized? Horse?]

A bit bigger now. You can't really rush these things.

[But he does super believe, which is half the battle there.]

As big as a what? Give me a reference.

[Dragons. Bloody dragons.]

Oh, well, this big?

[Here. He's just gonna show her Tad Cooper. He's not grown all that much bigger.]

He's a bit of a finicky eater, see.

[She squints at the screen.]

That's a lizard. I've seen those before. A bearded dragon, perhaps?

That's ridiculous! He doesn't even have a beard.

[But she called it a dragon... and a lizard? So that's something.]

[No, Richard, you have enough beard for several dragons.]

Have you seen him angry? I believe they puff out their necks.

[Richard looks down at Tad Cooper, who is currently giving a sincere o rly expression. Hm.]

... I may have seen him do that. Once or twice. But I have it on good authority that he is a real life actual dragon who will grow up and be capable of mass devastation. It just takes time, that's all.

I don't know if they get much bigger than the length of your arm.

[She's no expert in dragons. Lizards. That reptile thing he currently has.]

You may say that, but I know better. Tad Cooper is a real dragon and I super believe in him. One day, when he's reached his full size, you'll see.

[And she'll just be another skeptic he'll add to his list of people to act like he's going to burn to a crisp, but then not do that at the last second because she'll have learned her lesson!]

[Somehow, that makes her feel a little sorry for him. He's delusional.]

Well. As long as you believe in your Tad Cooper, I suppose.
