Have you already had an unfortunate encounter with an unusual creature? Something that lured you in with the voice of family or friends? A thieving sepht making off with your valuables? Did something injure you? I would like to hear of it.

This is a bit more unusual, I suspect, but I would also like to hear of it if someone here from your world has memories that do not line up with your own. Not mere cases of he-said-she said, but something more... verifiable. Perhaps one of you bears a scar that the other knows should not exist?

Well, I mean, that's really the crux of it. I'm from the 13th century, he's from the 21st, and it's obvious it's the same world. Oh sure, he tried to explain it all away with some nonsense he made up, but it's still very suspect, don't you think?

But he said it was all about different worlds on bits of paper, but one gets ripped up before the other.
None of it really made sense. I'm afraid the poor chap may have been a bit mental.

A name of John Watson, I think. But it's no use talking to him, as I said. He comes off a bit of an imbecile. [And talks like a witch?? But he's like 160% sure she might actually BE a witch so he's just gonna not drop that info bomb.]

I met someone here who is clearly from my world but bears both a scar and title that I know belong to someone else. It is as though the person I knew was plucked from the story and replaced by another, slightly taller and less hairy.

Wow, that's really really weird. I mean, the title I could understand, but the scar? That's just weird. You'd really have to be obsessed with someone to copy their scar too.

A magical scar, no less. One of a kind. Misguided idol worship seems unlikely despite the great number of fools in the world.

So this original other person with the magical scar, does the shorter balder one know him? Maybe they're in a club together?

Where, I wonder, would they sign up for this order of reluctantly-made heroes nearly killed by highly unusual magical accidents. One hopes they would not pay coin for such a dubious privilege.

I would ask the dwarf if he somehow knows this elven counterpart, if I could. Meanwhile the elf has knowledge of me that he should not, as though I confided in him.

What if someone took one of my friends, replaced them with an entirely different person and...

Oh yes, I've got a vivid image of it now. Really, really uncomfortable. What gives him the right?
