so i don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it looks like there's a definite trend of people going back into stasis without any warning
a few people i knew from back home woke up and just ended up... disappearing out of nowhere and returning back to their pods on the station
has anyone else had something like that happen to them?
maybe it's just me and i'm cursed with bad luck or something
an explanation for WHY it happens would be nice, too
not that i think it's going to make anyone worry less
i haven't had the chance to talk to darma about it, but maybe someone else has
[ not that clary is entirely certain she would trust darma's reasoning at this point, but... well, it's worth a shot. ]
uh, on a lighter note
i realize we already have a makeshift fight club in the works, but i'm looking for regular sparring partners
preferably someone who can't actually throw me through a wall and doesn't want to repeatedly punch me in the face, but i'm not picky
i figure it can't hurt to add a few new things to my skill set

yeah, i'd considered doing that before too but it's definitely too risky. i'm not sure either but it's just strange especially when they were in perfect health conditions before as well. you're probably right though, it could be something that is out of our hands. [clarke doesn't like that at all honestly because it isn't something she can fix or undo when whatever is keeping them in the pods or sending them back to them is so unknown to her]

[ it's a clumsy attempt at levity, but it's an attempt all the same. ]
i don't think darma would be too happy if we did, either. i'm trying to stay off of the naughty list.
[ considering all of the talk about opening pod and murder that had been on the network, it's safe to assume tampering with the pods in any way is reason for more than a slap on the wrist. ]

yeah, i doubt she would be either especially with how they keep emphasizing to leave them be until they wake up on their own.

i think a lot of those public service announcements were made with the more murder happy group of us in mind.
[ one post about murder on the network is too much. three is just chaos. ]

clarke remembers those broadcasts about people talking about murder. she felt a bit tired to really engage in conversation with these people though but she had been keeping an eye on the responses though]
that sounds about right though, there were quite a few of them earlier on discussing it from what i remember. [she still can't believe that was even a question]

[ maybe it's an odd remark to be flattered by, but training with those that have been relentless and strict — and cocky to the point of arrogance, at times — hasn't left her entirely confident that she can even compare to their skill level. clarke assuming it won't be a disaster is a bit of a bolster to her ego, truthfully. ]
by quite a few, i'm assuming you mean 'too many'. i can't say i expected people here to be so gungho about murder.
no subject
yeah, that's definitely what i meant. i didn't expect it either but i can't say i'm surprised there are people like that either. [it reminds her too much of grounder mentality honestly]

[ at least someone believes in her... clarke is a gem. ]
put a bunch of people that don't have much reason to trust each other or their surroundings and there's bound to be blood. it looks like it was settled pretty harmlessly, though.

[meanwhile as she reads the rest of the text it sounds entirely too familiar] yeah, it seems like it was but i definitely know what you mean.

[ having that much experience with wounds is as much an advantage as it is a curse in clary's mind — because of the good it can do, because of the horrible events that must have happened to make that knowledge and experience a necessity. ]
it sounds like they're lucky to have you working over there.

thank you though. [there are a lot more people more experienced than her but she does appreciate clary's words]
