so i don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it looks like there's a definite trend of people going back into stasis without any warning
a few people i knew from back home woke up and just ended up... disappearing out of nowhere and returning back to their pods on the station
has anyone else had something like that happen to them?
maybe it's just me and i'm cursed with bad luck or something
an explanation for WHY it happens would be nice, too
not that i think it's going to make anyone worry less
i haven't had the chance to talk to darma about it, but maybe someone else has
[ not that clary is entirely certain she would trust darma's reasoning at this point, but... well, it's worth a shot. ]
uh, on a lighter note
i realize we already have a makeshift fight club in the works, but i'm looking for regular sparring partners
preferably someone who can't actually throw me through a wall and doesn't want to repeatedly punch me in the face, but i'm not picky
i figure it can't hurt to add a few new things to my skill set

[ In his case, everyone from his world is still healthy and wandering around Olympia as far as he's aware, and he's been keeping a careful eye on them. The knowledge that this isn't the case for everyone is concerning, to say the least.
Not that 76 is that surprised. There's always a catch. ]

the only trend aside from that seems to be that they were taken back to stasis without any warning, which gives credit to the idea that it might have been a medical emergency.
[ or incidents that the orbiters wanted to keep quiet, but clary's already shaken off that suspicion by the time she begins typing again. ]
as for an explanation? i don't think we're going to be getting one of those from anyone but the people in charge. the most common theories? they were woken up prematurely and shoved back into stasis, or the landing had more of an impact on some of us than we initially thought.
still not entirely convinced that's the case, but i'll let you know if i hear anything else.

Even if it was a medical emergency, there's no reason not to inform anyone who would have noticed a friend's sudden disappearance. Clary might not be suspicious, but 76 has enough of it for the both of them. ]
Theories won't get us very far. If this is going to keep happening, and there's no reason to assume it won't, we need to know why. Someone should ask Darma directly.

[ or a straight answer in general, to be fair. it isn't a statement intended to be contrary, just a realistic (and skeptical) observation. from her experience, authority figures rarely appreciate being questioned; expecting that the orbiters would be different in any capacity would be naive, no matter how forthcoming they've been in other areas. ]
it might be better if she's approached with a small group. i don't mind doing it, but i would prefer not to do it by myself.
[ not out of any need to have her hand held, but there's power in numbers. listening to one person would be a nuisance, but multiple people addressing their concerns should be more difficult to ignore. ]

[ No, 76 wouldn't expect Darma to be completely forthcoming with them. There's plenty about their situation that hasn't been explained, no matter how many promises are made. But he still expects that asking her would be enlightening in one way or another. The way someone lies is worth knowing, too.
It's true that a group of them going to Darma together would likely carry more weight. 76's got plenty to ask her, so he doesn't have a problem with volunteering. ]
I'll go with you.

[ if she can even a decipher a lie from the truth out of darma's mouth, but that's another matter altogether. a meeting should, if anything, give her some idea as to the type of authority figure darma is — from her own assessments, not simply word of mouth for those few that have met her. ]
thanks. i'll let you know when i head out to the station to get her attention.

Yeah. Just send me a message and I'll be there.
