Hello,
How is everyone? Are you all sleeping well?

[ After at least three rough drafts, and one peer review by her (illiterate) roommate, Juvia has finally arrived onto the network with a post she can be proud of. ]

Juvia has been thinking. Are there any stories you all like?
Or, maybe, things from your home you want to share. It could be anything. Your favorite food, person, book, or place.
I will share something to start: Juvia would bring her guild, Fairy Tail, if she could.

The founder of Fairy Tail decided on that name, many years ago.
Personally, Juvia likes it. It feels very mysterious when you hear it for the first time.

Does ever member of the guild have a matching code name?

[ She can't help but wonder. ]

It depends.

If you are well known or strong enough, a mage may have something like a code name. An identifier of sorts. For example, Juvia is known as the Rain Woman.
But, outsiders tend to use those more than guild mates, I notice.

Do you actually have any control over the weather?

Juvia did not.
It's because the rain always followed where I went.
However, I can control water.

Some would consider that bad luck.

[ Those people loving blue skies or who hated melancholy. Though no doubt farmers would see her and weep with joy. The mention of water control piques her attention though. ]

Any water?

Many people did, including myself. It was one of the hardest parts of Juvia's life..
Now, the rain isn't as frequent. So it isn't as bad.

[ She didn't like it very much-- her rain often impeded on every aspect of her life. She couldn't wear anything cute, have a boyfriend, much less friends.. She's just glad it's gone, now. ]

Yes, Juvia can make and control any water around her.

[ It had been meant as an offhand comment, a remark on the superstitions of many cultures. To hear it taken so seriously fills her with some sorrow, enough to silence her briefly before she answers again. ]

I'm sorry. No one deserves to think themselves the bearer of bad luck. Especially not when you have such a useful talent available to you.

Have you always been able to control water?

[ She's slowly starting to differentiate between learned talents and innate magical abilities. ]

It's okay. You don't have to apologize. Juvia is past that.
My skies are sunny now.

[ If she could figure out how to add a smiley face, she would whole-heartedly. But she means that quite literally-- Juvia didn't know she'd appreciate the sun as much as she did when she finally saw it. ]

As for your question.. Being able to control water was something Juvia was born with.

Do you enjoy it?

[ Maybe an odd question, but not everyone enjoys the gifts they're born with or that are given to them. ]

[ It is a good question, she'll admit.. One she hasn't thought about in some time. ]

I do enjoy it, now. Both for its convenience and how consistent it has been in my life.
It is an extension of Juvia, after all.

[ She smiles at that. ]

I have a few friends that would say the same.

[ Speaking of friends: ]

Is everyone in your guild still asleep?

Really? Do they also control water?

[ There's a rather hopeful gaze she shoots down at her phone. It's shot down though near immediately at mention of her friends. ]

Yes.. it's just Juvia for now. I was only able to find a handful of my guildmates so far, but Juvia is hoping there's more among the pods.

Unfortunately not. He controls fire.

[ And actually hates water, not that she'll ever say such a thing to Juvia's face. Not only because it'd be beyond rude, but because there seems to be a genuine earnesty to this girl she doesn't yet want to ruin. ]

If you ever want any help in looking for your guildmates, I'd be willing to go with you. The stasis room is very large.

[ Too large for a single person to comb through. ]

Juvia also knows a fire mage. Natsu is especially good at what he does. Do you have any powers as well?

[ The prospect that there's another world like hers, with magic, makes her more excited than she should be. ]

Thank you! Yes, Juvia will take you up on that offer.
It took me a long time to find the few I did, about a day or so, and I was wondering if it was numbers being a factor too.. on there only being one person in the search party.
I can bring snacks, if you like?

Not at all. [ Alchemical or otherwise. ] But I've learned to take care of myself just fine.

[ As handy as those particular talents might have been, she considers herself more than capable now. ]

I'm sure that has something to do with it. I have friends I'm looking for as well, so it makes more sense to combine efforts.

[ As for snacks.... ]

Snacks sound like a good idea. We could be there for ours.

That is good. [ Oh. Well, that makes her a little sad to hear that. Not that she's in any place to outright say it, so she settles on something else she can agree with. ] Relying on yourself is always the better method. No one is there forever.

[ And while she is glad that someone else is in the same position as her, as far as searching for friends, she isn't all too keen on searching again. Even if she has to, it's too gloomy. ]

Okay. Juvia will bring snacks. Do you have any food you like? Or drinks? Juvia can find something close to it, if Olympia doesn't have it.

[ No one is there forever. That's a bit of a grim outlook, even if her practicality agrees with it 100%. ]

I don't have a preference at all. But you shouldn't have to do all the work. I can find bring something to eat as well, if you tell me what you like.

You're helping Juvia, so it won't be a problem.

[ It's a favor to her, as far as she's concerned. But, she's not going to say no to helping with their mini picnic... ]

However, if you wish to bring something, Juvia likes simple things to eat.

[ As for the visit itself... ]
