Hello,
How is everyone? Are you all sleeping well?
[ After at least three rough drafts, and one peer review by her (illiterate) roommate, Juvia has finally arrived onto the network with a post she can be proud of. ]
Juvia has been thinking. Are there any stories you all like?
Or, maybe, things from your home you want to share. It could be anything. Your favorite food, person, book, or place.
I will share something to start: Juvia would bring her guild, Fairy Tail, if she could.
Thank you

Juvia has also discovered the speech-to-text function.
How is Swiss chocolate different from regular chocolate?
no subject
It's the best! There's no comparison. ( super helpful there )
no subject
And I see.
[ she doesn't ]
So Swiss is a different kind of chocolate then?
no subject
( unseen, she smiles at her device. )
Swiss means it's from Switzerland. And Switzerland makes the best things! From clocks, to utility knives, to ski ranges.

[ Juvia, at this point, knows it'd probably be rude to outright say Switzerland doesn't exist in her world, so she opts for the easier option. ]
Switzerland sounds like fun when you describe it like that. The only sweets Juvia's ever tasted are from Fiore, so I can't really compare much outside of what shops I got them from.
Is that where you're from, Miss Ziegler?
no subject
( though some of it is personal bias. Juvia is a rather open, earnest, and enthusiastic sort, and it has attracted Mercy's attention, and inspired her to want to look out for her. Juvia reminds her of a certain young recruit who still manages to endear herself to her today. )
Yes, that is correct. I am Swiss! Born and raised.
Is Fiore where you're from?
I could understand then if you prefer those kinds of sweets.
no subject
I will.. Don't worry.
And I don't think we have anything to call ourselves like you can if you're from Switzerland, but Fiore is where I am from, yes. The sweets there are nice, but Juvia prefers making her own.
The reward is much sweeter when you do it that way.
no subject
So is Fiore not the name of your country?
When I say I am Swiss, however, it is more than my country. It is also a history, and a culture.
But that I understand, and completely agree with. Things worth having take hard work! And then you enjoy them all the more.
What kind of things do you like to make?
no subject
What is Switzerland like??
Yes, when you struggle, the outcome feels infinitely more worth it. [ now the real question is is she talking about her love life or Actual hard work ] Juvia likes to bake.. Or make food. Sometimes, I will knit. I can make a lot of things.
Usually it's dolls.

Switzerland is a beautiful country. There are mountains and glaciers and green, green forests, and lakes of true aquamarine. Some of the water is so pure, you can see much deeper than you'd ever expect to be able to. It is a safe and peaceful place, and it is somewhere that has always worked hard to be so. It wasn't always easy when there were wars around us, but we were staunch about our neutrality. It's not surprising that it's the headquarters for many peaceful organsaitions that try to help the world.
( she sounds rather a bit like a traditional homemaker. Mercy wonders if that's something all females in her world are like but, instead of asking it outright, keeps it on her mind. ) For children?

Switzerland sounds almost like Fiore, when you describe it like that. In my home, there are plenty of forests and lakes. Although, I never paid much attention to the color, so I can't say if they're true aquamarine like yours. I think our towns might be different though, since you said technology in your world was advanced. But what do you mean wars??
[ Fortunately, the only wars Juvia has seen or participated in are between guilds. So any mention of something else strikes her as odd. ]
Is your Overwatch in Switzerland, then? Since it is a peaceful organization?
And no... They're for myself, actually.
no subject
They might not be all that different. We have a lot of smaller towns since so much of the country is in the mountains. Also towns more or less retain their historical layout because we never lost much in those wars I mentioned.
Aren't wars a regular occurrence in your world? On Earth, there's been a major one at least every fifty years. Or some kind of awful crisis.
Yes, that's right. It was.
I see. Do you also make your own clothes?
no subject
That's interesting. Then the only difference would be magic, and technology. I wish there was a way for us to compare more effectively.
To have the original layout of your towns sounds awe-inspiring. To see the way things were before you were born. It was like that with Fairy Tail, before the original building was destroyed.
Between guilds, yes-- to establish who is better. Although those happened rather frequently.
I'm sorry to hear about all that happened on your Earth. [ It's ok Mercy.. Lena gave Juvia the rundown on Overwatch. Kind of. So she knows what that ominous 'was' is referring to. Sort of. ] Was it always there? Or was it relocated to Switzerland..?
Oh. Juvia buys her own, but all clothes can be manipulated by Juvia's water.
no subject
Was it a fire that got your building?
And what kind of war do your guilds have? Sale wars?
Thank you, Juvia. ( usually she'd say such feelings weren't necessary, but given how sincere Juvia is, she actually appreciates them. ) It was founded in Switzerland, and it was there until Overwatch was shut down. That was over seven years ago, before whatever happened with the storm.
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I know what you mean. Are you saying you can use water to change clothes?
no subject
[ Uh. How does she put this delicately without arousing any concern or unsavory thoughts. ]
It was actually destroyed by Juvia's old guild, Phantom Lord.
I don't know what Sale wars are, but it depends. Sometimes, it's to establish dominance. Other times, it's because of a job. If a guild gets in your way, then it's just considered collateral damage.
It's no problem, Miss Ziegler.
And I see. But, how long was Overwatch active before it was shut down? Did you create it by yourself?
That's alright. Juvia still has to wear physical clothes, but they can be made into water by Juvia's magic. However, I can change the length of my hair.
