i think you saw from experience im not really a sparring kind of guy

( and, well, it would be hard to fake being a beginner when there were senses and reflexes Peter had a hard time hiding at the best of times. )

I do. I used to teach.

yeah? ( Peter can be pretty trusting to say the least, but he can see that. Mr. Foster had managed to teach him a few things, surprisingly, considering he's supposed to be the guy with superpowers. ) seems like a handy skill to have around here.

me, i was a photographer, somehow i doubt there is a daily bugle replacement just waiting for me to show up... gonna have to up my game

( since they're all expected to work, and Peter know pretty well by now that vigilantism doesn't pay the bills. )
