Hello.
I am curious about the general knowledge of androids in this place and thought I would ask a few questions, if anyone has the time to answer.
1. Do androids exist in your world?
If so, what are they like? Do they have humanoid appearances, how do they behave, are they designed to emulate human responses, et cetera.
2. Have you interacted with an android?
If so, what was it like? Did you know they were an android? Were they able to successfully 'pass' for human?
3. If androids exist in your world, were there laws passed in relation to them, their uses or 'rights'?
What were these laws? Did you witness them being broken? What were the consequences?
And I have another question, not relating to androids. Regarding emotions –
4. Are there methods available to assist in regulating unpleasant or extreme emotional responses? Preferably with 100% success rates, though I am happy to discuss tools with less guaranteed outcomes or results.
Please respond at your convenience. Thank you for your time.

I don't imagine shutting them off entirely would be an option, though it seems it would be the easiest solution.

Connor. Got it. My name is Duo.
It might seem that way I guess but living without.. you know, passions and all the things that make anything worth perusing just seems kind of .. empty. At least to me. Not everything is butterflies and rainbows but stifling what you’re feeling isn’t always the most fulfilling option.
I tried for a little while and it just... came out in a bad way in the end.

I see the value in what you're saying, but – if an individual didn't experience passions or butterflies, would your answer change?

What's the proof they don't experience it? Or is it just that they aren't sure that they are?
