_{[The scene that's broadcast by Diva's device is...definitely not a pleasant one. The bedroom behind her seems to be in total disarray, with books and other objects tossed about, the mirror of her vanity visibly broken, even from this angle. As for Diva herself she's pink in the face, eyes red from having just stopped crying not too long ago. Her fangs peek over her lip as she pouts, long black hair cascading down over the front of her white dress. It looks like she's just thrown quite the tantrum and really, she has. There's a loud sniff that's taken, as she moves to wipe her eyes again with the back of a hand. What could possibly have her so upset? Well...]}

It isn't fair. _[Ah.] Other girls get to have babies or get married and I can't have these things. I can't even go on a date!

_{[While people are out hunting ghouls or putting spirits to rest, it seems Diva's preoccupied with her own restless spirit pertaining to matters of the heart.]}

All I wanted was to go on a date someday and now my lover is gone. It seems like everyone who says they care about me disappears back onto that station, no matter what I do or try to do to keep them by my side...I hate it!

_{[Her feet may be out of view, but the sudden sound of a stomp of a foot gives away that she isn't exactly done with feeling miserable just yet.]}

It's bad enough that I'll outlive everyone on this stupid planet...but is it really so much to ask for? Just one date?

_{[Sorry but she's feeling cagey. The last thing she wants is to have her differences pointed out. At least right now.]}

I find that you may feel as though some of what makes you unique is less than favorable. I have found ways of making others unique as well. You are a step forward in evolution and others could join you in this. A family as it were.

_{[As out to lunch as Diva can be sometimes, there are little bits of what she's saying that reminds her of the whole plan her Chevalier were trying to implement back on Earth. It leaves a slightly sour taste in her mouth.]}

I don't need a family I have my sister.

Should it matter then for you to never have had children or been married or dated if you only need your sister?

I can't have children. None of us can.

Of course all of that matters but that's different. Sweet Saya is the most important person to me. She's my only family.

_{[Blood ties matter. If they didn't, one could consider her Chevalier family, but that would just make things...really weird.]}

The science of genetics does study how to fix that problem of yours.

[To have children.]

What a fascinating family you must have though I'm sure.

Fascinating? I guess so.

That is what science is for. To advance us beyond what we are capable of. Making the impossible possible as it were.

I've never really liked scientists or doctors. They've always been demanding.

And what have they demanded of you in particular?

My freedom and my blood, mainly. Eternal life, as well.

Then I would hardly call them scientists. Merely people filled with greed to extend themselves rather than caring for the benefits of science.

All humans are greedy. Even greedier than me.

Some merely focus on that more than anything else. Particularly scientists you claim the title but who are merely disappointments in the end.

What do you focus on then?

The progression of expanding our knowledge of the world. There is more in this world than our petty greed limits us to. Things we could unlock within ourselves and others. Mysteries to discover.
