_{[The scene that's broadcast by Diva's device is...definitely not a pleasant one. The bedroom behind her seems to be in total disarray, with books and other objects tossed about, the mirror of her vanity visibly broken, even from this angle. As for Diva herself she's pink in the face, eyes red from having just stopped crying not too long ago. Her fangs peek over her lip as she pouts, long black hair cascading down over the front of her white dress. It looks like she's just thrown quite the tantrum and really, she has. There's a loud sniff that's taken, as she moves to wipe her eyes again with the back of a hand. What could possibly have her so upset? Well...]}

It isn't fair. _[Ah.] Other girls get to have babies or get married and I can't have these things. I can't even go on a date!

_{[While people are out hunting ghouls or putting spirits to rest, it seems Diva's preoccupied with her own restless spirit pertaining to matters of the heart.]}

All I wanted was to go on a date someday and now my lover is gone. It seems like everyone who says they care about me disappears back onto that station, no matter what I do or try to do to keep them by my side...I hate it!

_{[Her feet may be out of view, but the sudden sound of a stomp of a foot gives away that she isn't exactly done with feeling miserable just yet.]}

It's bad enough that I'll outlive everyone on this stupid planet...but is it really so much to ask for? Just one date?

Seaworth...with a name like that I would hope you're a sailor, or else that'd be a waste.

I was once a smuggler who was knighted for smugggling in food by boat to a besieging castle, with a starving garrison inside. I was knighted for my efforts, and took the name Seaworth for the occasion, while I paid the punishment for a lifetime of smuggling. It changed my life for the better.

Oh! You're a knight then? How noble of you, to do something like that. It sounds as if it was a risky undertaking.

What sort of punishment did you have to endure?

[wheresmyfingerbones]

It wasn't noble at all - as a poor smuggler myself, I knew starving people would give me the highest coin. I was expecting silver and gold for my little ship of onions and fish, however, not a knighthood.

I had to lose the first joint of each finger on my left hand for a lifetime of smuggling. But I did not mind. With a knighthood, I had choice lands, and a chance for my sons, and their future sons, to have a future and be able to stand side by side with those of ancient blood.

I'm surprised it was just a few joints. I thought you'd have lost an entire hand!

It sounds as if you've done well for yourself then.

Yes. I am grateful. The man who knighted me was true and just, if harsh. He knew of his duty, and I learn of mine as I became a knight.

Does your story have a happily ever after?

[wheresmyfingerbones]

My story was yet to be completed before the Storm destroyed everything. But I think I have encountered a secret triumph of sorts before it came.

It's good then, if you feel accomplished.

I don't think I've felt that in awhile.

[wheresmyfingerbones]

I feel accomplished in the ways I feel that are right, and other instances, I feel I might have underperformed. But I strive nonetheless.
