There's a place in Nadril called The Frosty Tap Cantina . It's okay, seemed like they liked playing games a lot though.

[ Well, Diana, you're lucky you know someone who is deeply familiar with alcohol. He wants no one to end up as reliant on it as he is, but he's always happy to give friendly directions to the nearest bar. ]

It seems you've been directed to the most populous tavern already. I agree, it is a rather lively place. The company is good and the atmosphere is light, and the wine is perfectly acceptable. They do seem to enjoy placing wagers as well. I've grown quite fond of it, but variety is good every so often, do you agree? I have found a handful of quieter places, if you prefer.

That's correct-- at least, in terms of where we were before. To be honest, I don't really know. It's not something I've done before. I know little of the cities' nightlife.

Then, mademoiselle, I believe I have found just the place if you will allow me to direct you to the fishing district. I’ve found the people there are coarser than those in the center of the city, but not impolite. If you do not wish to speak to them, they will not speak to you.

Not really. I don't exactly hang around them either.

This place has some kind of betting game though. You bet and if you lose, you do a dare. I didn't really do any dares though, they just had me sit around and participate in the other half of trying to make someone smile dares.

Who would remotely enjoy being asked to do a dare just because you lost some silly wager?

[ Grantaire grew up with money, but he doesn’t discriminate. For all his pessimism, he can find something to enjoy about a tavern or bar in any part of any city. The alcohol and the company is usually good, at the very least. ]

I have not yet managed to uncovered anything both upscale and quaint. It seems if you want silence, you will be paying for it with atmosphere.

Perhaps. That certainly does seem to be the case.

Somehow, it's all the more frustrating than if she hadn't woken up at all. [They'd had important conversations.]

She and I had just had an... interesting conversation, too. [She says, quietly, and it's a good thing that they're only on voice, so he can't see the pink in her cheeks.]

It's vexing. So, I'm going to have a drink.

[Diana is quiet for a bit.] And is it possible to... purchase something and drink it in my own abode?

It is. I dearly wish I could offer you something of my own, but our new home is scarcely large enough for me, let alone a bottle of wine.

[ He's already drained what little he managed to collect on the station anyway. He's back to square one. ]

We are fortunate that Jehan is small, or I would need to take up quarters elsewhere.
