So I don't know shit about dragons, but I do know a few things about fightin' giant monsters, and I want these dudes to fail so bad in their stupid plan that they die humiliated. That would give me an extreme amount of satisfaction. So! I got a proposal.

See, everybody's got their little contributions to this cause, and this is mine- I build things. Specifically, I build gadgets. Tech, weapons, bombs... Mostly those last two. The problem is that unless y'all want me to start ripping non-essentials off the station while those Natha jerks are off on vacation or whatever, I don't have the materials to arm everybody who wants it.

Ergo if you want bigger and badder weapons, you need to come to Wyver and bring me whatever you got that I can make something worth your while with. We'll discuss the payment particulars later.

A laser sword?! That sounds a little too ridiculous. How're you supposed to stay quiet when you're waving around something bright and probably loud?

[ lasers are loud, right? it'd be like walking around with a glow stick meant for parties, only the party is dismemberment and immediate cauterization. ]

Because everyone needs something ranged, just in case of emergencies. Not to mention that sometimes, you just need to show off a dangerous weapon instead of actually using it. And you should've seen the ones I had! Ever fire a comet at someone?

[ not an Actual Sized Comet but pretty darn close, not to mention he could get enough velocity on those to punch a hole through almost anything. ]

It doesn't have to be that fancy. It just... I just want to be able to contribute the same way as I could before.

Eventually, I'm not gonna question anything you tell me, but all right. I'll get you some kind of slingshot that... Probably won't be flinging comets at people but will definitely give whoever you use it on a real bad day.

Uh... just anything new, really. Back home, I taught my partner how to make lockpicks and other pieces of equipment when we went on adventures.
