[The video opens with a very flushed Chuuya, and the source of that rosy color on his cheeks is soon readily apparent. In his hand is a glass of red wine that’s barely half-full, and it’s obvious that he’s been hitting the bottle hard. Behind him is the backdrop of a lavish, cozy bedroom, and a small bird can be seen flitting to and fro.]

This is the first time I’ve posted a video on here. Seems easy enough. Anyway, while we all wait for news of whatever the hell is going on with the bigger picture right now, why not have some fun?

[Chuuya takes a sip of his wine.]

So I’m gonna ask a few questions. First off, what’s your drink of choice? I’m taking suggestions on different cocktails to mix up since I’ve got an entire bar to work with now. Hell, if it’s good enough, I might just name it after you.

[And he downs the rest of the wine. So classy.]

Second question; besides the people, what do you miss most about home? Or maybe tell me about something you’ve gotten back that you were missing when you first woke up. Or even weirdass gifts you never asked for that just randomly appeared.

Depends. Don’t ask me stuff like “does God exist” or “what’s the meaning of life”, cause fuck if I know.

I would say the meaning of life is to die but that can't be it if I exist.

Maybe the meaning of life is to enjoy it to the fullest.

Either way, dying isn’t on the agenda for people like you, so you should enjoy life with all us mortals while you can.

That makes sense.

I have been, so far. At least since I woke up. It's a bit sad though, knowing I'll have to watch you grow old and die.

[At least he actually has a chance to grow old here. That probably wouldn’t have happened back home.]

Maybe, but we might as well live in the now, right?

When’s your birthday, anyway? I dunno how old you are, but you probably have one, right?

Mhmm, that's what I think! I don't like to worry about the future.

Of course I have one. It's August 4. I don't remember the exact year I was born, but it was near the beginning of the 19th century. I'm around 175 years old, I think.

What do you want for your birthday?

I've looked like this for awhile.

What do I want? I don't really know...maybe a new dress or new shoes?

What I do want is a party.

A party, huh? Those are always nice. You could have a cake and everything.

I love dresses and shoes. Back when I lived in Russia I had the most decadent gowns and heels. I miss them.

A cake? Oh yes! I want a cake! I told Atsushi I want to have a ball - a masquerade, to be exact. I think it'd be really fun!

Can’t speak to dresses, but shoes are nice.

[He doesn’t even question the Russia part.]

Yeah? Then I’m sure it’ll happen. He would want you to have a nice party.

What about suits?

_{[There's a bit of a hum at what he says next.]}

Mhmm, I think so too. Atsushi's really sweet and kind. Tastes good too.

I used to have a ton of expensive suits. Now it’s only like...two.

[One is a butler uniform, courtesy of Mephisto. He hasn’t worn it outside yet.

As for the tastes good part, Chuuya can’t argue because he’s not a vampire.]

Yeah. I never expected him to throw me a party. But if you want a masquerade I’m sure he’ll make it happen.

[He’s probably got more silver by now after that big blowout. Probably.]

What color dress would you wear?

Only two? Why don't you have more?

_{[You live in a ritzy place as far as she can tell so clearly you must be rich too.]}

Yeah! I believe in him!

_{[RIP Atsushi's wallet.]}

Blue! I love blue.

Cause I don’t exactly have a job.

[He already feels indebted to Atsushi just for living at the mansion, honestly.]

Blue is nice. My favorite color is red, I think.

_{[Oh. Well that's a surprise.]}

That's okay, I don't have one either.

_{[More like Solomon won't let her get one...but there's reasoning behind said employment ban. She can't be trusted not to cause trouble if she were to be hired, after all.]}

Red matches your hair, after all, so I'm not surprised. Red is sweet Saya's color.

Unless you count jumping into the fighting pits a job.

[It earns him a nice amount of silver, so.]

What was she like? Saya, I mean.

_{[Uh oh. Maybe you shouldn't have said that. It's going to put ideas into her head that might be hard to get out. Blue eyes widen as her fangs are suddenly on display.]}

...You can be paid to fight? Really?

_{[Abort. Abort. At least asking about Saya seems to calm the sudden bloodlust in her gaze.]}

Incredibly darling, to the point it backfires on her. She grew up playing pretend as a human, you know, she didn't know she was a Chiropteran like me until she let me out of my tower. She's a bit of a crybaby, and isn't very strong...but I love her more than the whole world, even if she probably wants me dead now.

[Yeah, maybe he shouldn’t have said that...judging by the unsettling look on her face right now.]

They don’t want you to kill your opponent, though.

[Somehow he thinks Diva wouldn’t be able to contain herself...

Oh good, subject change.]

That right? I’ve met a few people in the past who had no idea what they were, or what they could do. It makes them think they’re “normal”, then when they’re not “normal” anymore they lash out at people.

_{[Well that's...disappointing. It shows on her face too. So much for that.]}

She was raised as a human, even though she's anything but. She got to play house and have a family. She might not think it but she has a worse temper than I do, so you're right about that.

Yeah? Figures. Does that mean she has powers too? Even if she’s not a queen?

Well, she technically is a queen. She's just like me, even if she isn't as strong. She's weak because she doesn't eat enough. Oh! And she can't sing. Her voice isn't like mine.

Oh yeah, I still haven’t heard you sing.

Oh, you haven't?
