[The video opens with a very flushed Chuuya, and the source of that rosy color on his cheeks is soon readily apparent. In his hand is a glass of red wine that’s barely half-full, and it’s obvious that he’s been hitting the bottle hard. Behind him is the backdrop of a lavish, cozy bedroom, and a small bird can be seen flitting to and fro.]

This is the first time I’ve posted a video on here. Seems easy enough. Anyway, while we all wait for news of whatever the hell is going on with the bigger picture right now, why not have some fun?

[Chuuya takes a sip of his wine.]

So I’m gonna ask a few questions. First off, what’s your drink of choice? I’m taking suggestions on different cocktails to mix up since I’ve got an entire bar to work with now. Hell, if it’s good enough, I might just name it after you.

[And he downs the rest of the wine. So classy.]

Second question; besides the people, what do you miss most about home? Or maybe tell me about something you’ve gotten back that you were missing when you first woke up. Or even weirdass gifts you never asked for that just randomly appeared.

Yeah? That’s one I haven’t heard before. Granted I don’t do a lot of reading.

[Ah, sometimes he forgets that not everyone came from worlds or timelines where such things existed. He’s quiet for a moment as he tries to figure out how to describe a motorcycle to someone who’s never seen one.]

It’s like a bigger, bulkier bicycle with an engine attached that makes it go a lot faster. Much faster than any horse, that’s for sure.

I do few things. Most of all, I drink. At times, I argue against ideals I do not believe in—which it seems would be most of them. There are times when I simply wander the streets to search out the best places for the best things, and in the remaining time, when it suits me, I read.

[ Granted, he hasn’t done much of it here. He’s left that to the other Frenchman who’s decided to show his face in his post.

What he’s picturing is not nearly as slick as an actual motorcycle, but he’s clearly intrigued by the idea. ]

I think I would have liked to see such a thing. I wonder if Parisians ever took to them.

I can definitely get behind drinking and arguing. Not to mention seeking out the best of the best.

[Chuuya is a terribly self-indulgent creature, but it’s not without reason. Growing up with nothing gives you a newfound appreciation for the finer things in life, so much that you constantly want to surround yourself with them.]

Not sure, but I sure as hell miss mine. Maybe I’ll get it back someday. I’ve heard of that happening. People regaining things from their worlds, I mean.

Then I should tell you that if you find yourself in Wyver, the best wine is tucked away in the center of the city. I cannot recall the name of the tavern at the moment, but it is rather unassuming.

[ Grantaire is the epitome of wasted privilege: a young man from a wealthy family who could do essentially anything with his life, but lacked all motivation, going so far as to abandon his education when it wasn’t what he expected. Instead, he’s always done exactly what he claims he does: he drinks and he argues. ]

May the Natha grant you your motorcycle, my friend. I have nothing I should wish to regain more than my friends, but I’m afraid they will wake when they’re ready and not a moment sooner.
