[The video opens with a very flushed Chuuya, and the source of that rosy color on his cheeks is soon readily apparent. In his hand is a glass of red wine that’s barely half-full, and it’s obvious that he’s been hitting the bottle hard. Behind him is the backdrop of a lavish, cozy bedroom, and a small bird can be seen flitting to and fro.]

This is the first time I’ve posted a video on here. Seems easy enough. Anyway, while we all wait for news of whatever the hell is going on with the bigger picture right now, why not have some fun?

[Chuuya takes a sip of his wine.]

So I’m gonna ask a few questions. First off, what’s your drink of choice? I’m taking suggestions on different cocktails to mix up since I’ve got an entire bar to work with now. Hell, if it’s good enough, I might just name it after you.

[And he downs the rest of the wine. So classy.]

Second question; besides the people, what do you miss most about home? Or maybe tell me about something you’ve gotten back that you were missing when you first woke up. Or even weirdass gifts you never asked for that just randomly appeared.

I guess that depends on you. I wouldn't expect something for nothing, after all.

[ And from one kindred spirit to another, she's not pushing that sort of agenda. ]

It's been seven hundred years at least since I had a cocktail and I've had some good cocktails. Comes with the territory when you get around as much as I do. There's one that sticks out in my memory, though. [ A beat as she considers how to describe it. ] Have you ever drank fire?

[He’s not surprised at the seven hundred years tidbit, after associating with Diva and Mephisto. Nysa is full of interesting people, after all.]

Oh yeah. Liquid fire in the form of fireball whiskey. That shit is my go-to for getting hammered. Why do you ask?

[devilcalling]

Okay, so! Imagine your fireball is this teeny tiny little thing.

[ She pinches the fingers of her freehand together to demonstrate just how minute she's talking. ]

Now imagine that teeny tiny little thing in comparison to a sun. It's still hot, still smooth, but it's that much more brilliant. You take a sip and you can feel the heat flowing through you from the very tip of your tongue through every vein of your body.

Think you could pull something like that off in a cocktail?

[Chuuya’s eyes grow wide the more Ryoko talks, his interest clearly piqued.]

Heh. I like the way you think. Something that’ll make you feel like you’ve been lit on fire on the inside.

[Is such a drink actually possible? Or is that the kind of booze you’d only find in the halls of Valhalla?

Maybe it isn’t, but Chuuya is sure as hell gonna try.]

I could pull that off. What kinda timeframe do I have?

Well, given the uproar as of late and the fact that we're talking about a drink originally made among spacefaring cultures, let's say...

[ Hmmmmmm. ]

Three weeks maybe?

Three weeks is doable.

[Except there’s going to be a dragon ruining his plans now.]

What do I get if I do it in time?

Beyond the satisfaction of a drink you can strut at your place? What sounds good to you?

[ It'd be one thing if they knew each other, after all, and she's kind of wondering if it isn't a pity the hadn't met sooner. She'd have a guess at the answer to her own question, for one thing. Fellows who know their liquor do seem rare enough in these parts.

Surely later, drinks can be had to the tune of Zombie Dragons Are Rude. ]

Heh. I guess that’s a good enough reward. That, and having a drinking buddy from now on, if you’re up for it.

[Chuuya no don’t encourage peoples’ vices.]

I won’t disappoint you.

[ Chuuya, yes! A thousand times yes! ]

You've got yourself a drinking buddy, pal! I'll be looking forward to that drink, too.
