In his hand is a glass of red wine that’s barely half-full, and it’s obvious that he’s been hitting the bottle hard. Behind him is the backdrop of a lavish, cozy bedroom, and a small bird can be seen flitting to and fro.]

This is the first time I’ve posted a video on here. Seems easy enough. Anyway, while we all wait for news of whatever the hell is going on with the bigger picture right now, why not have some fun?

[Chuuya takes a sip of his wine.]

So I’m gonna ask a few questions. First off, what’s your drink of choice? I’m taking suggestions on different cocktails to mix up since I’ve got an entire bar to work with now. Hell, if it’s good enough, I might just name it after you.

[And he downs the rest of the wine. So classy.]

Second question; besides the people, what do you miss most about home? Or maybe tell me about something you’ve gotten back that you were missing when you first woke up. Or even weirdass gifts you never asked for that just randomly appeared.

You do realize alcohol dehydrates you, right? Water hydrates?

Anyway, there are a lot of things I miss about home. I'm not sure I can pick just one thing.

You miss your piano, right?

Of course I do.

_{[There's a sigh, as Elliot props his chin up with a palm. He seems to be sitting at a simple wooden table.]}

But I miss the library at the academy I went to. I also miss my father's estate. Most of all I miss having a relatively normal life, even though apparently it wasn't going to last.

[He has no concept of not being rude, apparently.]

My life was never normal.

What's wrong with liking to read?

The longer I stay here the more I realize just how much 'normal' can vary from person to person.

Nothing. I just find it boring.

True. Powers were normal back home.

Boring? How can you find reading boring? Do you have zero imagination?

That so? I wouldn't say powers are normal where I'm from but they exist.

More like zero patience. Comic books are better.

Depends on which Chain a person has formed a contract with. Their abilities vary. You can think of a Chain as something similar to a demon.

They’re like books that are nothing but pictures and speech bubbles.

Yeah? And what does the Chain want in return for offering its power?

_{[Just sounds like a picture book to him.]}

_{[There's a shift in Elliot's demeanour, his tone sober, if not somewhat sombre.]}

I do...but I wasn't aware of it until recently.

[Chuuya detects the shift in tone, but it doesn’t stop him from asking questions.]

What does it do?

...Kill.

_{[Yeah he...doesn't want to even think about what he's technically guilty of beyond that. The beheading of your siblings isn't something he can mention casually over a network.]}

It also rewrote my memories and gave me chronic nightmares.

Rewrote your memories? That’s some power.

[He’s heard of ability users accidentally slaughtering people before. This must be the same kind of deal.]

Is there any way to control it?

[yelliot]

Not that I'm really aware of.

_{[If he knew just how Humpty Dumpty worked he'd be strangling the Chain into submission as we speak.]}

My brother's Chain Raven is capable of nullifying or sealing other Chain's powers so...he's been doing that for me.

_{[It's a bit like a certain someone's one touch nullification ability, in a way.]}

[That sounds awfully familiar...]

I dunno if you’ve mentioned him before. What’s he like?

[yelliot]

His name is Gilbert Nightray. He's stupidly tall, has wavy black hair and is far too attached to hats for his own good. He smokes and is petrified of cats. He cries when he gets drunk and he can be kind of a coward but he's my older brother so...

_{[So Elliot would throw down for him.]}

He's a great shot with a pistol, I'll give him that much. He's also a really good cook and bakes really good pies.
