[The video opens with a very flushed Chuuya, and the source of that rosy color on his cheeks is soon readily apparent. In his hand is a glass of red wine that’s barely half-full, and it’s obvious that he’s been hitting the bottle hard. Behind him is the backdrop of a lavish, cozy bedroom, and a small bird can be seen flitting to and fro.]

This is the first time I’ve posted a video on here. Seems easy enough. Anyway, while we all wait for news of whatever the hell is going on with the bigger picture right now, why not have some fun?

[Chuuya takes a sip of his wine.]

So I’m gonna ask a few questions. First off, what’s your drink of choice? I’m taking suggestions on different cocktails to mix up since I’ve got an entire bar to work with now. Hell, if it’s good enough, I might just name it after you.

[And he downs the rest of the wine. So classy.]

Second question; besides the people, what do you miss most about home? Or maybe tell me about something you’ve gotten back that you were missing when you first woke up. Or even weirdass gifts you never asked for that just randomly appeared.

Drunk dialing the entire refugee population is a little passé, don't you agree? [ she smirks at the camera. ]

I totally meant to do this, though. I’m not drunk. Just tipsy.

Fine. Tipsy dial.[ Cheryl tosses her hair back over one shoulder. ] Would you like me to answer some of your questions?

[Chuuya can appreciate a good hair flip.]

Yeah. I’m still curious about everyone’s answers, so.

People excluded, of course, what I miss most about home is Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe. There's simply no where to get a quality strawberry milkshake here. [ tragedy. ]

Damn. That does sound good.

I miss my old apartment. Two stories, decked out in high class furniture. I was pretty well off back home.

[sweetwater]

We had a mansion at home. Two, actually, but I burned one down. [ totally normal reasonable stuff. ]

[Totally normal. At least Chuuya is no stranger to “totally normal” stuff, having been in the Mafia and all.]

Why did you burn it down?

[sweetwater]

So that we could start over. We had to purify everything and move on. [ if it seems like Cheryl has crazy eyes, it's because she does. ]

It was the only way.

[Oh boy. Chuuya has met this type before. Instead of calling her out on it, however, he’ll just go with the flow.]

Yeah? Sometimes you gotta take drastic measures. At least you got a fresh start here on Nysa, right?

[sweetwater]

[ she didn't even tell him about her mom getting 3rd degree burns in the house fire! she tilts her head to one side, considering this. ]

Not the kind of fresh start I was expecting, but it is in its own, sad, Dickensian way.

Yeah. Don’t think there’s any expecting that kind of thing.

[He takes another sip of wine.]

You live in Olympia or Wyver?

[sweetwater]

Olympia. [ she adjusts the camera just enough for him to see the Olympia brooch she received for her part in the rescue of the kidnapped refugees. ]

I thought about moving to Wyver, for a friend, but he's back in stasis so I suppose I'll stay where I am.

You?

Nice. I got a couple of friends that have those.

[He wasn’t involved. For better or worse.]

That’s too bad. And I live in Olympia. Not because I care about sides, though. I got invited to live there by a friend. It’s nice so far, aside from the impending war.

[sweetwater]

We'll have to choose a side, if there's a war.

I guess. In that case I’ll choose Olympia.

[sweetwater]

I'd do the same. Not entirely because it's where my apartment is.

[ she can't really trade sides now that they've given her a hero's brooch, can she? ]

All the same, it's best to lay low if things get hairy.

True. Hopefully the rumors about a dragon are just rumors.

[sweetwater]

Most rumors have some truth. Though I suppose if there were dragons in the past, that's enough for a rumor of more.
