With the recent news about the ritual to resurrect Ysevrai, it would be best if we move forward instead of waiting to hear more. This mean we will have to look into the lore surrounding Ysevrai, find records of the events and how the dragon was dealt with. Wyver may not be entirely truthful with what they offer, but Khalo Village has recently begun welcoming outsiders. They may have records that Wyver does not or stories we might not hear in Wyver.

I think it would be wise to assemble a group, one to begin researching the records to find any information we can on Ysevrai and the other to act as a delegation to Khalo Village to look into what they know of this time in Wyver and what they might have heard of the shamans.

That all would depend on how forthright you intend this to be. The obvious answer is the village elders, but aside from that, perhaps the healers and those few storytellers around the fires.

Aye, that would be the best place to start. We could be a bit more direct in Khalo Village, as they likely don't trust Wyver very much. In Wyver, we will have to have a bit more caution. We don't know if all the shamans that were involved with the kidnapping plot were found.

If you need somebody to stick their nose where it doesn't belong and not get caught doing so, I'm your guy. Diplomatic delegations are great and all, but the best way to find out the real answers is to hear what people have to say when they think no one is listening.

That will be needed in Wyver. We're not going to get straight answers from the Shamans, so we will need someone to infiltrate or spy for us.

No. It would be better if we gather as much as we can within a few days and regroup to share what we have found. We will need to be cautious in Wyver, as we don't know how many of the kidnappers or plotters were actually caught.

If you are going to learn anything from the shamans, you will need to keep your true motives quiet.

I was thinking that if I hung back wherever you and your gang might be talking to somebody, I could then stick around and follow them once you're gone, to see if they maybe conveniently left something out of the conversation with you. I've found that's a fairly successful tactic, especially with low-level grunt types: they just can't resist giggling together about what they didn't spill.

I'm a fairly experienced researcher.
I've spent time in the library, but I'm not sure I have anything in particular to report.

I work at the sanctuary, which makes me ever so slightly nervous about my chosen profession.

However, I would be more than happy to offer my services in this research project. I'd like to stay closer to home, if I can, so I could delve into the library stacks in Wyver and see what I can pull up. I'll also keep an eye on the wyverns and their behavior, to see if it changes at all.
