I need help!

_{[It's not like Diva uses the network very often, but this seems like a good reason to. She's standing barefoot, in a simple white dress, before a long mirror, sideways. Aside from a very prominent, fanged pout on her face, the first thing that'll be noticeable is the state of her long, black hair that falls down her back, past her hips. It looks like it hasn't been brushed in three days (it hasn't) and there seems to be various twigs and leaves stuck right in it.]}

I can't brush my hair. I even broke my brush trying to!

_{[Said brush is held up in her free hand, or well, what's left of it, which is just a wooden handle. RIP.]}

I don't know how to deal with it! So...please?

If you help me I'll do something for you in return. I don't know what but...that can be figured out, right?

_{[Thankfully, for Ryuji's sake, when he arrives Diva is the same level of distraught she had been when they had hung up. At first there's no immediate answer, just the sound of footsteps, before there's the signature click of a lock and the door swings wide open.

There, standing before Ryuji will be a girl far shorter than he is, who appears to be in her teens, barefoot and dressed in a simple white gown. Her eyes are wide as she looks up at him, fangs on display when she goes to greet him. So this was Ryuji, huh?]}

_{[She's not really sure what sort of person she was expecting to show up on her doorstep but frankly she doesn't really care much either. Without warning she reaches to grab his wrist and tug him inside. Welcome, Ryuji. Please enjoy your stay.]}

[Okay, so she's short, but she is not apparently a kid??? In fact, Ryuji is more than a little bewildere to realize that the "kid" is almost his same age. How could someone in their teens not know how to brush their own hair?

He doesn't really get a chance to ask though because she's grabbing his hand and pulling him inside before he can protest.

_{[ She can quite literally smell his fear and it leaves her pouting again, hands slipping free from her hips to hang loosely at her sides. Sure, she could sink her teeth into his neck and drain him dry if she wanted to but that's not her goal here. She's trying to be good for once and also Solomon would probably punish her if she murdered a random boy in the living room.]}

_{[Don't mind her as she goes to sit on the small sofa, arms crossed over her chest with a huff.]}

[That does not reassure him at all, Diva, thanks. If he were a vampire, he wouldn't murder people on the front porch. That's just asking for trouble from the neighbors. If he were a vampire, he'd probably invite people in to do it in the privacy of his home.

But somehow, the way she goes off to pout and huff makes him actually think that she doesn't want to hurt him. After all, there are shark people and magic people and half-man half-animal people here, too, so he really shouldn't be this judgemental, right?

Even if she probably does have to eat people to live.

_{[Her answer is a lot quieter, more subdued as she peels herself from the sofa to stand again.]}

[Man, he actually feels bad now. It's not really her fault she was born a vampire (or made one??? He has no idea how vampires work in her world), and here he was being an asshole about it. She probably feels like an outsider more than most, and he should understand what that feels like.

Besides, it ain't like I can meet a vampire queen on the reg. Vampires don't exist in my world. So it's....kinda cool actually.

_{[It's true that it really isn't Diva's fault she was born the way she was. Growing up trapped in a tower and being treated like an experiment for her formative years isn't exactly going to leave a positive impression on her behaviour as well. Ryuji isn't far off the mark when it comes to how she feels either. She does feel like an outsider, more often than not. It's hard, trying to fit into a society when you don't know how to. This is the most freedom she's had in her life - back home she'd been restricted by a plethora of rules. Here though? She feels like a kid who's moved away to college for the first time.

It's hard, to deal with so much independence, even if she enjoys her newfound freedom. It comes with a price, after all - boredom, loneliness and now twigs in her hair. She might be a ruthless killer and a vampire queen, but at her core Diva's just a teen girl who still, after 173 years, doesn't know what to do with herself.]}

[That seems to have put her back into a better mood. Even if it's a little freaky to be here with a teenage vampire queen, it's also par for course for Ryuji so far. Honestly, meeting a regular old teenager here is rarer than a unicorn at this point after he's met robots and aliens and shark people and all kinds of other people here. To be honest, a unicorn is probably more common.]

Yeah, I mean, you're not only a vampire, but a queen. I met a princess [A shark princess] but you're the first queen that ain't that Simwe lady.

[He takes the hairbrush out of his back pocket and looks around. The couch she's on right now is probably the safest bet, even with the volume of hair she's got.]

And you can probably just stay there. I'll move around ya' as I need to.

[So here he goes. Learning how to brush someone else's hair. Ryuji takes a breath and plods on over, plopping down next to her.]
