Can you tell me about the magic in your worlds? The magic we've brought with us?

I'd like to write a collection of this.

I was trained as a scribe. So this is just an extension of that, I suppose.

There are two kinds in my world, although I only lay claim to one.

I've the Skill, it's called. Magic that lets me share thoughts, and dreams. But I'm weak in it.

What kind of magic would you say is most common?

Mm, I guess it kinda depends? I've done a lot of traveling, and some places, they don't even believe magic exists. Other places, anyone and everyone uses it. I guess basic elementals are the ones I saw most often. You know, fire, blizzard, thunder, that sort of stuff. Healing magic is fairly common too, where magic is a thing, but I never had much luck with it.

The "skill", how pragmatic. Sharing thoughts sounds like a pain in the ass if you don't mind my saying so. Do you have to get pointed to make it work or does stuff just drift in unannounced?

Are you askin' what I am good at? 'Cuz honestly, my overall luck stats are pretty in the toilet in general, but fire magic is my specialty.

It's only the poets who believe there's magic back in my world. I'd have called any serious devotee of such things a madman until I came here.

Some in my own world don't believe in magic. I'm told in other realms, it's hardly a common thing.

I'm not sure if it counted as magic, but there was another world parallel to ours, full of spirits. Apparently, over the course of history, humans have managed to channel that power through ritualized games of sorts.
