I dearly hope everyone is safe after the turmoil in Olympia.
Wyver too, I've heard, though I was fortunate enough to not to experience it myself.

Does anyone else find it odd? That tensions were suddenly inflamed in such a way. Normal people turning violent.
Or the refugees ourselves having our own aggressive tendencies reinforced and heightened.

It's hard to believe that all of this is entirely natural, or the result of simple historical tensions.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? Something that has this sort of aggressive effect on the populace?

Right now that's risking a lot more than the dragon's blood is worth, trust me.

I live in Wyver so it won't be too hard. Any particular amount you were looking to get your hands on? I go between both cities fairly often for work so it wouldn't be too hard to drop it off to you, either.

I don't think I'll need a lot. Certainly not at first.
It'd be a waste of time and money to get a large quantity that might be useless for what I have in mind.

Oh, nothing too complicated. Just some basic alchemical work. I don't claim to be an expert, but I've had some instruction.

Much like chemistry, it has its origins in the work of medieval scholars, yes, though I don't intend to change anything into gold. Think of it as a mix between chemistry and normal magic-- potion-making, in other words.

I'm not sure exactly. My goal, strictly speaking, is to try to ascertain any elements that I recognize-- to try to identify what it is about the blood that's causing madness.

And see if I can distill it into a mistlike substance.

Ideally I'd be able to examine the cove water as well to see the similarities between them.

You do know that the best way to cover something nefarious is just to go about it like a normal every day thing, right?

No one really expects to come to a place to I guess help and have everyone suddenly have a problem that you're breathing in their space, you know?

I suppose not.
But we are outsiders. Not to condone it, but fear and suspicion of newcomers is far from uncommon.
