One or two names here or there. Mostly the notion of a list comes from seeing at least 5 people say "yes, there are people up there who should die immediately". Some of them have more than one. One way or another, things are going to take a very quick nosedive when some of the people in some of those pods wake up.
[ Charles massages his temple. He really didn't want to use his powers to avoid a situation like this, but he might have to. He won't go through another situation like he did in Cuba. ]
Perhaps Darma can intervene there if she knows the names. Make sure they awake in a safer location.
[ the more he looks into this entire mess the more he dreams of the innocent minutes before, writing this post, when it still felt funny ]
And if those people are the murderers and God knows what else these people say they are?
The best we can do is hope there's a decent prison around here somewhere. But even then, can't lock anyone up until they've done something wrong unless a group gets together who are interested in preventative justice, and I doubt anyone's going to support a safehouse, potential residents included.
Not as of yet. My experience is in catching criminals, not detaining them. At the very least we'll need numbers, people we can trust, the help of the Natha and the co-operation of the people with the enemies insofar as we can get it.
After that it's working out what sort of a model we want to work with. What's going to work best for us, best for the people we're making sure aren't killing/being killed. All of that.
I'm going to stress again how under-qualified I am to even be hypothesising about this.
I think we're all underqualified. But what matters is that we start somewhere instead of doing nothing. And I've never been a fan of sitting on my hands.
Shall we give ourselves a bit of time to think and then meet? This seems like something better thought about in person. We can get together a list of people it might be worth approaching, work out what we'll need to ask our benevolent rescuers in the sky, that sort of thing.
Fine by me. Which number are you in? Hope you don't mind me coming over there but I'm not sure my housemate's conducive to having an extended conversation on one topic.

[ And Charles would know. Immediately. ]
I doubt Darma would let anything happen to those stasis chambers.

Fingers crossed not. We could do with people not on the hit list not having to come face to face with fresh corpses on stepping out into Thesa.

Are people actually naming shady characters? I have yet to come across that.

I could feasibly do that. But I prefer communication and finding a middle ground.

[ Especially since Charles is pretty sure that's not the actual reaction. ]
Having the ability does not mean I'm predisposed to using it. Especially in order to keep people in check.

Suppose we'll have to do our best to come up with an alternative.
[ @ self, what are you doing ]

Do you have one in mind?

The housing would be faster for me, if you don't mind. I'm wheelchair-bound.
