Been a little quiet lately. Like the calm before one big shitstorm. With Wyver and Olympia only playing nice in public, anyone who went to the gala can attest there's still bad blood.

Maybe it's pettiness — politicians tend to be like that.

But, I'm not here to recycle the same shit everyone else is saying. So, I'll be blunt: don't get enchanted with either of them. Use 'em like they use their citizens, stay safe and adjust as much as you can — but getting starry-eyed over your new "home" could get you on the wrong side of conflict.

If you're looking to make cash and toe the morally gray line as much as possible, hit me up. I'm the one responsible for wasting parchment paper for all those jobs in the cities.

Don't get the wrong idea, I'm only siding with Wyver out of convenience for my partner. I would have been perfectly fine with either sides.

Not that I'm "into" them. They're cool, no doubt about it. The fiends from my world were less domesticated than these. Only a few creatures were helpful to us. They're like giant dogs — you can keep 'em as pets or train them to do more. Just... a bit more scaly.

Eh. I'd choose neither if that was an option, but Natha seems to not be too keen on that route.

I find it more than strange, but surprising? No. Everyone wants something. Doesn't matter what race, species, religion, hell — doesn't even matter if it's my planet or yours. They "saved" us without permission and now we're playing on their chessboard.

I don't know about you, but no many people could fight back against them even if they wanted to. The bribery, the guilting, the bartering — it's nothing compared to the power they have to even bring us here.

Now we're all playing a game. I don't even give a shit about winning or losing, I want to get paid for doing what's right. And you? You're smart for complying, unfortunately.

They've achieved things a magus could barely accomplish in a lifetime... in a matter of minutes.
