[When the video turns on, You is standing next to a wooden box, about the size of a large microwave oven, her hand resting on its top. She seems to be in the marketplace of Olympia.

She waves at the camera.] Hi~!

So, this place has months that are pretty much just like the ones on Earth, right? Which means that we're coming up on a very special holiday: Valentine's Day! Seriously, it's right around the corner!

If you don't have it where you're from, Valentine's Day is a holiday all about love, and romance, and celebrating the people you love! [There's the slightest of pauses. She frowns a little bit.] Actually, to tell the truth, it's a little bit different in Japan, but-- but that's not important right now! The important thing is, it's almost here!

And I know that since we're all still uprooted from home, it's probably really lonely to spend Valentine's Day by yourself. Sooooo... I'm gonna find everyone a match! [She beams at the camera, using her thumbs and fingers to form a heart-shape in front of her chest. It's honestly kinda precious.

She breaks the heart shape to tap the top of the wooden box.] Seriously, I'm gonna do it! I've got a box set up in Olympia, and one set up in Wyver, and you can fill out the form and put it in the box, and I'll go full-speed-ahead at finding you a perfect match! And, we'll all have a big dinner party with your new date!

[Another pause. Her expression turns sheepish.] Actually, if anyone wanted to help chip in money for that... renting the place is gonna be really expensive...

--but yeah, you should sign up! It's going to be great!

[It's a little weird. At least they just made out and didn't do anything else??] Yeah, I gotta keep people's spirits up! --but, uh, thanks for helping pay. I can't exactly afford it on my own...

I think a lot of people think things like that, but not everybody does them. It's really admirable.

Of course! I bet it's pretty expensive... but I've been hunting for jewels in addition to my regular job, so I can definitely pitch in!

[All right, so he was going to save that money for who-knows-what... but he'd rather spend it on something like this, anyway.]

[ayes]

Well, there's... not a lot else I can do, so I'd better do this, haha! [She says, sounding a little self-conscious about it.]

So you're making money like, as a treasure hunter?

[gekkajuu]

Things like this are more important than you think. Without a little boost to morale like this once in a while, life wouldn't only be less colorful, but we would fall apart as a group really quickly.

[Not that politics didn't seem determined to make that happen regardless.

Treasure hunting, though... He's picturing himself being Indiana Jones - and probably whipping himself in the face.]

T-That's a little exaggerated! And my normal job is at the stables anyway.... It's just that I heard Overseer Voss was looking for crystals to buy, and... to be honest, I really missed my old job of traveling around gathering flora and fauna samples. This seemed like a good excuse to do something similar again.

[ayes]

[That is... a little less cool, sushi.] Oh, I getcha.

So you were like a traveling researcher back home? Or were you just talking about helping out here before?

[Sob, he will never be cool enough to be a proper senpai...]

Just here! I worked for the Institute, before -... Well, before.

It's really nice to travel around here. There is so much to see.

[ayes]

[She is trying to imagine you are a lot cooler than you are, Atsushi.] Oh... okay. [Trying to not sound disappointed.]

I mean, if you really want to travel, you can do that even if it's not for the job, right?

[Does he have to grow tiger ears and a tail to at least be cute, if not cool...]

That's true, but I have to work anyway... Combining the two seemed to make sense.

How about you? Are you doing all right with jobs?

[ayes]

[That would be adorable.] Me? Yeah, I'm doing fine!

We're pretty busy at the tailors... or at least we were, leading up to the big gala. It's a little quieter now, which is why I thought I'd do this!

[gekkajuu]

[Well, if she ever needs cheering up, then..!]

Sometimes it's nice to take it a little easier for a while. But this sounds like a good chance to get people all dressed up, too! Only candy might sell better on an occasion like this.

[ayes]

Yeah! I'm hoping we'll sell some cute dresses and suits.

Though, uh, I'll probably be too busy to help make them.

[gekkajuu]

Of course. I bet organizing this will take a lot of time, huh?

[At least: that's why he presumes she'll be busy.]

[ayes]

Yeah, probably.

I mean, I want to do a good job, you know? I gotta give it the effort it deserves!

If you'd like some help with that, too, I'll do what I can!

Uh, I'd like to say "no problem, I've got it all covered" but...

...I probably could use some help.

Of course! This kind of thing is too big for any one person to handle. Not to mention, I'll be glad to help!

Just let me know what to do. Maybe if You-chan is handling the matching, I could try to find a location for the party? Or did you have somewhere in mind already?

Oh yeah, that'd be great! I'd be really thankful, Atsushi! Even just finding a place would help a ton!
