Hello all.

I've been settling in, the same as I'm sure many of you have, but while I've taken a position to pay the bills, I've noticed a distinct lack of my previous vocation:

I was a reporter, and while I won't say I was the best one in the business where I come from, I would say that I truly believe in the power and importance of the free press. Now, I'm currently down in Wyver at the moment, but I do have an associate, the real head of this operation, who's been working on this problem from up in Olympia.

Neither of us have necessarily worked in the management of a publication before, so we're happy to sit back a little if someone with the experience would like to step forward, but we're also looking for people who are interested in working in journalism from any direction: bloggers, photographers, or the more investigation inclined.

You can ping me here and we can discuss it or we can meet up somewhere in the city as is easiest for you. I'm pretty mobile and more than flexible.

I figured. I'm with the Royal Guard, I was asking if we could manage both on the schedule you're considering?

Oh, definitely. This is 'as much effort as you can put' sort of thing.
We just want to make sure there's an information stream open to people.

That makes sense.
Is this going to be a physical paper, or an online thing?

[apricitous]

Mostly online, more than likely. We're not opposed to that changing,
but it seems like the easiest platform.

Is there a way to lock that down?

Can I ask why?

I don't mind making a point for it, but I'd like to know that to argue for it better.

I'm not saying it should start out that way, but as political tensions continue to grow,
it would be a way for all of us to have something that's still ours.

[apricitous]

That's a part of what we're trying to do. The only reason I wouldn't close things off is that I don't know what's coming in the future. Does that make sense?

[sheriffing]

Yeah, but there are ways to plan for that.
