[Just ignore how unimposing that username is compared to the message. The thought doesn't occur to him in the face of greater concerns. With Stannis missing for over two days and a potential madman on the loose, usernames, Wyver and Olympia conflicts fall short in his mind. He's had to deal with this matter before and lost his brother, he wasn't going to let others die because of Ramsay Bolton.]

There is a man that has been assuming an identity publicly, you might know him as "Willem Rivers", a bastard from Westeros. He might appear charming and friendly, but this man is dangerous. His real name is Ramsay Bolton and committed a number of crimes in my world, including murder and flaying. Don't trust him and be on your guard. Now that he is being backed into a corner, he will become a mad dog and lash out at anyone who he feels slighted him.

Those in the royal guard, I appeal to you to help me find and detain him. He might have a new victim, Stannis Baratheon. Anyone that might have experience in combat or tracking, meet me in the training yard in front of the Palace of Olympia.

[ Good heavens. ]

Flaying. My word. What strange tastes people have.

[ Byerly tilts his head slightly to the side. ]

What's the fellow look like? For those of us who'd like to keep our luminous skin intact.

[ well... this is certainly something. ]

I've heard about "Ramsay Bolton" before. What goes around comes around.

[ he's not going to say he's cheering for Sansa to murder the guy after what she said about him, but... it was definitely her revenge to take. ]

[ Well that's ... Something. Loras feels a twinge of embarrassment followed by a vague hollowness, because this is typical Westeros. You think you can trust someone and then it turns out they're terrible. When he manages to find his words, his reply is simple enough.]

I'm afraid I cannot help you in Olympia, but should he find his way into Wyver, I will do what I can.

That's just wonderful.

[ Sarcasm. There's nothing good about looking like a man who's being publicly wanted for flaying. ]

I suppose I'll just stay inside for the foreseeable future.

[ Likely, they've seen each other in passing at the Palace. ]

Peggy Carter, [ she says, by way of introduction. ] I'm with the Guard. Have you known about this Bolton's presence here before now?

[ aka if he was this bloody dangerous, why wait until now to bring it up? Flaying? Christ. ]

People are such fools.

[ Spoken with a laugh despite knowing that he’s going to be viewed as one of the most foolish of them, but at least he can save face by not being the only fool in an entire sea of them. Ramsay is one as well. It’s his own fault that this should come to light. He got too bold. ]

He could have named himself as one of the old gods and you would have all believed it without ever having seen his face.

[He will let Theon laugh and say what he wants. A part of him had worried how badly Ramsay had manipulated and tormented Theon recently. Being able to hear from him didn't ease away those concerns, but it at least told Jon that Theon was alive.]

You think no one was wise to the game he was playing?

[Jon might not play games and have little time for them, but he learned quickly what sort of man Ramsay was. Warning bells went off the very first time he heard the name "Willem Rivers."

A surge of irritation bubbled up. Theon knew. He knew the truth this whole time and did nothing. Just like before.]

You knew where he was and you didn't tell anyone.

I have. He was married to my sister once. I thought he would only remain a threat to her and to me.

[He made a mistake, he knew that.]

He had more reason to lash out at us than anyone else, but now his secret is out. It changes what he'll do.

He's medium height with dark hair and dark eyes. He's wiry and lean.

[He's not an artist, so describing is difficult, but he gives as good a run down of Ramsay as he can beyond hair and eyes.]

If I could sketch, I would have something for you.

[He probably should find someone to do that for him.]

We need to find him first.

[Then he'd let Sansa deal with him, as he had before.]

Who told you?

Aye, that's better. He might find his way to Wyver and look for a place to hide there.

We need men to be on the lookout for him there.

[It still makes him do a doubletake to see Maximus.]

Aye, that might be for the best. I don't want you be mistaken for the wrong man.

Be on your guard though.

Sansa Stark. She's a friend of mine, and told me a few things about him. You're one of her brothers?

[ Good. ]

I'm a member of the Royal Guard too. I also know one or two people in Wyver that might be able to help out if he makes his way down there.

[ again, he'd be more than happy to take the (quite literal) bastard in alive. it wasn't his kill, or anyone else's, to make. ]

It should also be noted he has a bloody giant dog with him, or at least he did when I last saw him in person.

[Every interaction with "Williem" has been flashing through her mind and making her skin crawl. She should have known something was off with the young man, but any oddities she thought came from a life of a farm boy awkwardly trying to settle in this world.]

I'll be there.

What about Stannis, how long has it been since anyone's heard from him?

[ Ramsay never needed to press to manipulate Theon. The way Theon had begun to doubt his own sanity and memories long before Ramsay’s arrival had done half the job on its own. A few words and a little push—that’s all it really took, and suddenly Ramsay became the one person Theon could trust to tell him the truth. ]

Aye. I did.

[ Curt and upfront. It will do him little good to deny it. He had tried to play both sides, to protect the Starks from Ramsay while still allowing himself to fall prey to Ramsay’s words, but he won’t admit to that much. He’s far too stubborn. He hadn't wanted to lose his one source of truthfulness, but at the same time he wanted to keep his pseudo-family safe. Making choices has never been Theon's strong suit, so he hadn't really made one. ]

I saw what none of the rest of you did.

[Hello facetwin, here's Ramsay doing a terrible imitation of your accent.]

I suppose I'll just stay inside for the foreseeable future.

[Despite everything, Ramsay's thrilled to hear Jon call him Bolton.

Also fuck, he left Stannis at home while he popped out for some shopping. Is there time to go back and finish him off?]

What? You're not going to offer me one on one combat, Snow?

[Fucking Reek. If Ramsay's going down then Reek might as well have his own life ruined too.

Sweetly-] Hard to miss me, given we were living under the same roof.

You need a bit more practice.

[ Said in an excellent imitation of Ramsay's horrible imitation. ]

You'll no doubt have plenty of time while you're hiding away. Flaying, hmm? It seems a bit extreme but I can appreciate dramatics as much as the next man.

[That takes a moment to process. He's been busy studying the man's face. He can grow a beard out like that, though the accent will take work-]

Dramatics? It's an time-honoured Bolton tradition. There's a saying where I'm from. A naked man has few secrets, a flayed man has none.

[ All right, so Maximus had chosen a video reply on purpose. A little spooking is amusing from time to time. ]

Try to keep your angry mob away from my door.

Of course. I'll spread the word, as much as I can. You have my word.

[ A pause. ]

Do you suppose Stannis will be all right? He's the resilient type.

[ If looks could kill--well, he wouldn't be on voice right now. That's fine. Ramsay may frighten him, but that doesn't mean he can't bite right back. It might not be such a good idea, in the end. ]

Hard to miss you, given how you've all but done this to yourself.

I offered it to you once and you turned me down. If you want to spare everyone the trouble of hunting you down like a dog, then you could face me as you were too afraid to do before.

[Ghost is already on the hunt. It's only a matter of time.]
