do you think theyd let us have a beach party here? if I find a place to do it, everyone is invited!

I can see the appeal. The water provides for so many people, whether it's food or fun. I actually haven't had many chances to visit a beach; I've mostly seen them from trains.

I visited a port city once, but it was part of my education. It feels like years ago now, if I'm being honest. But that's all the more reason for me to come, like you've said. I wouldn't dream of missing it.

I can swim. Whenever we moved our settlement, we always made sure to settle near a water source. Whenever it was a lake, my siblings and I would have plenty of time to swim and fish. It's no ocean, but I'm pretty comfortable in the water. I purchased a swimsuit just in case I decided to swim here, actually.

Likewise. Since we're going to be meeting in person soon, what would you say is your favorite beach activity?

oh gosh theres so many I love swimming and sunbathing and eating yummy food and ice cream and all of that when I was a kid I would always wait for my dads ship to get home on the cliffs outside town and Id jump off into the ocean and then climb back up and look some more and jump off again so thats probably my number one favorite

It might not have been the ocean for me, but I agree that there's nothing more fun than jumping straight into the water. There are a few high points near the lake we often visited, so my younger brother and I would sometimes leap from there.

Being surrounded by water is a comforting feeling, isn't it?

There may be. Maybe in one of the schools? I have fond memories of racing in the pool with my friends as well.

As convenient as that would be, I attended a military high school as an exchange student for the last year.
I'm one of the fastest in our class, though I was more thrilled to test my abilities against others my own age than I was to show them up.

ohhhh okay that makes more sense I was like "boy did they just build a pool wherever they moved??" and that seemed a little excessive! Id have done it though lol so were you on the swim team? did you have a swim team?

The Nord Highlands are full of places where one can get water, so I was fortunate to almost always be near natural water.
But I would've considered the same thing if I didn't have one.

No, I was part of the art club. We had swimming lessons for our class instead. Our swim instructor insisted on making us more manly through endurance tests. It was...an experience.
