While I was helping to put the fires out, I found a curious list. It listed the following cities: Olympia, Wyver, Stroln, Dranbu, and Nadril, with a red line marking out Nadril. Aside from Olympia and Wyver, do these other names sound familiar at all? I know it's possibly best we all lay low for now, but if anyone makes any inquires and acquires some information, I'd like to know. They may be potential allies to keep in mind.

[You know, should anything continue going south with Wyver and Olympia.

She taps her chin thoughtfully a moment before adding:] While I'm here.. If there's anyone still recovering from the riots and needs healing, please let me know. I know healing magic that can fully heal physical injuries. While I'm residing in Olympia, I'll gladly travel to Wyver to help if I can.

You have a little brother? I do too. He's asleep still on the station, but I would visit him all the time when the transporters still worked.

[She seems quite pleased and proud. Has she mentioned that her brother's great bc her brother is great]

[Mipha looks thoughtful for a moment.]

The Institute might know more, assuming you're in Olympia. Have you joined a profession yet in either town? There could be ways to find out more from employers, in a casual way, so as not to draw suspicion.

I don't mean to sound like I'm casting any sort of doubt on your abilities-- I assure you, I'm not-- but the ocean is a... very large place. Can you swim indefinitely without having a place to rest, or even any assured means of being able to find your way back?

I don't know. I'm a little annoyed I didn't get to see and learn a lot more about my world where I was from before I got sucked in to this mess. Did all that fighting and then I didn't even get to enjoy any of it really.

Then you get here and they're telling you to get out? Annoying. I'd rather be back on Earth figuring out weather there.

Yeah, let's plan on it. I feel like I'm in need of that kind of thing honestly.

Even if we don't find the other places it's worth a shot for the experience.

It's weird. I wonder why we haven't heard those names until now. If they are places, they could all be ghost towns by now.

I visited a mine a lot too. He's around five now so he's still pretty little.

[Well, Mipha seems enthusiastic about that brother of hers. Mai isn't quite as enthused but then again she's only recently become that close to her own brother.]

That's what I'm concerned about, with the one name crossed off. It could be something completely mundane like checking it off a list, but I still worry.

I think it'd be in everyone's best interests to try and find maps and other things to gather information. The more we know about this world, the better we can prepare for anything.

Only five! My little brother is well over a hundred now-- But my kind tend to live very, very long lives anyhow.

[She laughs a little, smiling]

I hope that everything can settle down and become safe for everyone quickly, so you may be rejoined with your family soon. It's hard to be out here all alone sometimes.

I can read the stars to find my way, and I know how to doze under the waves without getting lost. [She smiles reassuringly.]

So there's no offense taken--they're good questions to ask. Of course, the stars here are different than those from home, so I would still need to study quite a bit so I don't lose my way... In the end though, it'd be best not to do these things all alone until we've a better understanding of the creatures in the water to begin with..

We won't find anything if we don't keep looking, so...good job. Thanks to you, we know what we're looking for.

How'd everything turn out after I left the Sanctuary? You look like you're still in one piece.

I am in Olympia, yes. And no, I have not. I've recently arrived and there have been... incidents that seem to keep cropping up and I've not managed to have the time to organize myself. But I shall take that under advisement. A place to start is nothing to scoff at.

[A hundred?? And he's her little brother. Mai doesn't even try to temper her reactions.]

Yeah, I'd say you're very long lived.

[How old had Aang been? He'd been a hundred too, she thought. Then again he'd been frozen so...]

I'm kind of used to it now. They may be there but it's not like they can say much.

[So that's pretty much functionally alone, right?]

That's rather remarkable. I'm quite impressed.

Still, you have a point-- I certainly wouldn't ask that of you without a full understanding of the risks. Or even if it's entirely necessary. Perhaps there are sailors or merchants who can tell us what we want to know.

[ It does sound mundane, and it could be as simple as that: a practical list that wouldn't be strange to someone actually from this planet.

She's right, though. This confirms that there's more to this place than just Olympia and Wyver. It could open other doors for them. ]

I'm guessing you didn't find a map with it? [ No, it could never be that simple. ]

I wonder what would happen if you tried to ask some of the natives about these cities.

Unfortunately not. [She does look genuinely apologetic about it though.]

I think that's where we should start with. It'd be simple to keep our lack of knowledge hidden if we frame the questions a certain way. "I haven't heard any news about such-and-such place lately, have you heard anything recently?"

Things like that, I suppose?

[ That's a clever way to go about it, so as to not completely give themselves away. They've been framed as foreigners, but 76 imagines that suspension of disbelief can only go so far. ]

It's worth trying. I can ask around here in Wyver, and get back to you.

[ If he's expecting her to go out of her way to investigate this, he's naturally going to do the same. ]
